Ah, I was noticing a certain kind of newly-minted troll poster(s) in another thread, also hassling someone (another female, natch) for not being a hand model.
I had some newbie whiner tell me mine was tight in another thread, which was hilarious. Mine is on the first page of this thread and my wrist isn't large by a long shot.
I'm not gonna let a pissy stranger on the internet upset me with their opinions of my wrist, though.
Most of the blatantly rude types I just write off as teenagers, people who are cranky because their watches have yet to arrive, social misfits, or a combination of the three.
I have seen quite a few people in this thread tell the OP
very politely that the watch LOOKS too snug, and I cannot see why that sort of comment should offend. It's a
statement about a photo. None of us can see it in 3 dimensions.
Looks like it's choking your wrist. You need a bigger size.
I have not minded the polite comments, but when people say my arm looks like a pig's leg, I draw the line and the moderators have deleted quite a few of the rudest comments.

Well, it isn't my wrist is fine. Thanks for your concern.#
I owe apologies to people who I got upset with when they were rude to me. So I am very sorry. I hope everyone is enjoying their watches and if you haven't gotten it yet, I hope it comes soon. I have changed the face to the flowers. I had ordered the 42mm SS watch to try in case this one didn't work. It was scheduled for delivery in June, but I think I will cancel it.

People take potshots at other people for all sorts of things. I grew up in a rough neighborhood, have been in a lot of fights, did some animal rescue work and got some bites, had some freak accidents, and then had cystic acne on top of all that, so I have some unusual scars for a woman. Oh and I am biracial which adds to the unusual factor. Some people think I look cool and some think I look ugly and strange. Whatever. Some people can't feel good about themselves unless they can put someone else down. I've seen people talk about how ugly beautiful actresses like Natalie Portman are, proving that nobody is immune from criticism from the small-minded. Insults have so little meaning to me anymore. Especially when I consider the insecurity and immaturity of the people making them.
Last night, I posted that I was afraid the watch I ordered wouldn't fit. Got it today, it fits with not a lot of loop left. I got the 38mm with Milinese loop. Oh, I agree that there have been some incredibly rude comments and I think they were highly inappropriate. I'm sorry that so many people lack tact.
Here is one showing more of my arm and hand. Thanks again.
Not to be rude but that absolutely does not fit you well. Like, at all.![]()
IMO, and I hope this does not offend anyone (but it probably will) I find the 38mm face looks more "dainty/delicate" and dressy and The 42mm looks more sporty, athletic, strong.
So I would say it depends on the look you are going for.
I think the 38 looks just fine on you.
Likewise I'm not a fan of the 38 on men.
But this is a fashion accessory - some dudes loves skinny jeans, some don't. Some women only wear leggings, some don't. Some overweight people prefer to wear loose clothes, some prefer to wear tight clothing....
Find your style, express it how you like it!
Flex.
I think "dressy" is one of the reasons some guys opt for the 38.

I choose 38 because it's more comfortable. I don't have tiny wrists but the 42 felt uncomfortable. So regardless of if its dainty or girly I went with the 38 because it's comfortable.
This all will probably be moot now that Apple has released specifications so third parties can manufacture bands that meet or exceed Apple's standards. I'm hoping third parties release a wider range of band sizes and by summer. There will also be adaptors that should help all of us be able to choose standard bands for our watches and open our options even further.
After all, Teach is not the only forum member who has struggled with choices lately. Now we are seeing people's allergies to leather or metal or other components forcing them into tricky decisions.
