Amazing leak. Has to be as big as when iOS 7 leaked. I’d love to know who’s leaking this. Is it a rogue employee or a 3rd party dev who has software builds? No way would Apple intentionally leak all this as then there’s no excitement for WWDC.

Meh ... I want a new home screen or at least let me finally resize and decide on my own where to put the app icons on the screen! Major annoyance ever since my iPhone 3G days.

Also for the love of god, let me quote messages on iMessage ...

Must.get.rid.of.that.annoying.volume.interface. I don’t get why it is taking them so long? Aren’t Apple devs watching videos on their iPhone?

Get rid of the freaking big call screen interrupting everything. It’s 2019

And last of all, let me lock any app I want from within the „FaceID“ settings menu. Shouldn’t be so hard and the most obvious thing ever, especially for photos

Got excited then thinking that could be some useful changes and things I would actually use - then realised it was just what someone is "expecting" i.e. hoping.
From the article...

“Here are the software features Apple is planning to announce at WWDC 2019, according to people familiar with the plans. They asked not to be identified discussing unreleased product details. Apple’s plans are fluid and could change between now and the event, people familiar with Apple’s development process said. The company could also choose to push back some features until next year, like was done last year, they added. An Apple spokesman declined to comment.”

How about being able to run two Apple Watch apps at a time. I want to do timer based runs using the app “seconds” whilst also tracking the activity in the workout app.

I don't understand why running two workout apps at a time would be useful. Any decent workout app contributes its data to the Health and Activity databases.

A dedicated App Store app on the Apple Watch itself

I have a hard-time imaging who would use that. Apart from that the number of third party apps on my Apple Watch I use daily is zero, what would be the advantage of that?

You don't use any third party Watch apps? I use Audible, Cardiogram, Fantastical, Gymaholic (weight lifting), iCatcher (podcasts), and Outlook every day. I also use Intervals for interval workouts instead of the default Workout app. (I use Workout for most of my runs.)

So, the hybrid iOS/macOS device is absolutely NOT coming. (NOT).

I prefer the workout app screen. Seconds does a fantastic job of letting me program time based workouts, and don't want or need anything more than that from it, than that specific function. Using them both at the same time gives me what I want, in the package I want.

We can't even do that on the iPhone yet, by the time they allow us to do that on the phone.... you have to wait a few more years after that for Apple watch to get it.

His leaks come from within Apple.
I’d love to know who’s leaking and how they don’t seem to ever get caught.

Not really, the ipad is still more flexible. On a MacBook, the cursor is mandatory. On the iPad it would be optional and used when the situation warrants it.

Editing a document? Mouse.
Reading a book? Touch.
How about offering mouse/cursor support when a hardware keyboard is attached?

In other news: Apple removes iOS 13 apps that perform similar functions from the App Store.

There are apps and functions people want for free from Apple. Apple knows it and it will “eventually” make them. If I would be a developer, I would use this to my advantage. Would be on this kind of blog, searching for what people really want and make it ASAP. Then I would have at least a year to sell it as much as possible. Eventually, once the similar feature is introduced by Apple, I would still be offering it with more functions, or so.
