I want one! I'll only get one though if it works with windows as well. I need a mouse with a right click feature for windows.

That is not only dumb but it doesn't work..
I just did it out of curiosity and the mouse still won't scroll down.It will go up and sideways but not down.

Apple needs to get better help videos..
It didn't work for me either at first, but after intense rubbing, and exchanging water with some sort of cleaning liquid, I finally managed to get it working again.

Oh, and the video is just the most informative I've ever seen. :D :D :D

Does it have a microphone in it

I want to be able to pick it up and talk to it  TALK TO MY MOUSE ...

I just phoned the UK store and their response was 'oh, it's probably not available in the UK yet'. Very helpful. When the wired Mighty Mouse was announced I'd already got mine ordered by this time in the evening!
I've just picked one up from the Meadowhall (Sheffield, UK) store tonight - they said they were announced at 2:00pm, came into stock at 3:00pm and they'd been taking calls about them since!
I think it's fantastic - works exactly the same as the wired mighty mouse, but without the wire. Having no red light underneath seems a bit strange though!

WOW! Looks great. Such a pity it costs $109AUD! Has anyone noticed that when building a desktop computer on the apple store, there is no longer a way to upgrade to the wireless keyboard and mouse?

That's good to hear. Unfortunately it's about an hour and a half to my nearest Apple Store (Birmingham). My local John Lewis might get them in time for Christmas. It's going to have to be the Apple Store Online (get a few Nectar points too!).

How much ? isnt on the UK online store yet and I cant find the price anywhere else.

The people whining about the right click is talking nonsense IMHO.

The way I see it, the real problem with the mouse, the real design flaw if you will, is the damn scrollball. When it works, it's great, but it gets really aggravating sometimes when it decides to stick.

Personally, I will be avoiding this mouse.

I bought mine at Regent's Street at about 7pm. A salesman said he had them but couldn't sell them, and when I insisted it was on the site, he pulled it up and there it was, much to his surprise. I took two.

These things are fantastic.

FWIW, I did get an education discount.

£49 - not sure how much stock the shops got but when I rang at about 4:00pm today they said they'd got 15 left but advised me to reserve one so it'd still be there when I went to pick it up!

Hello, computer?

Unsung Feature - May Run On ONE AA Battery or Two, You Decide

Unsung Feature - May Run On ONE AA Battery or Two, You Decide. I believe that would be a first among all consumer electronics. Anyone know of anything else that lets the second AA or AAA battery be optional? So while running on one rechargable, a second one can be in your recharger or case already recharged. Brilliant!  ;) :D :)

I've been using the RF-USB Wireless Kensington Turbo Mouse Pro for two years.

why are people so worked up about this price? it's not that much. The radtech BT600 is $60. My MS bluetooth mouse cost $100 two years ago. $70 seems quite reasonable to me.

Agreed. It's not that much for a good bluetooth mouse (provided the connection really works) . I have used Logitech V270, which has been quite sketchy, so I look forward to trying the Apple product.

I have to admit that I have almost zero interest in this. I'm glad to see that Apple is continuing to move away from the one-button mouse strategy and that they're continuing to TRY to do innovative things, but there's really just nothing at all about the Mighty Mouse that I like (with the exception that it's bluetooth). I'd rather just pick up any one of a number of better mice from Logitech.

Now, if Apple added a REAL second button to their laptops, that'd appeal to me. It's just about the last thing holding me back from buying one again - the one-button (or even pseudo-2-button) thing drives me absolutely insane!
