I have a question. There is music in the Australian itunes store that I would love to have, but I know that you cant purchase music from other countries music store. So I was thinking, and came up with an idea. If I bought a gift card to the australian music store, would I be able to redeem it in the au music store? I called my local Apple Store and they didnt know

This belongs in the iTunes/iPod Discussion forum. We're talking about the Bluetooth Mighty Mouse here.

But, yes it would work if you managed to get a hold of an Aussie Gift Card, you'd also need an Aussie address but they're easy enough to find.

I'm cancelling my order! :p

Now, if Apple added a REAL second button to their laptops, that'd appeal to me. It's just about the last thing holding me back from buying one again - the one-button (or even pseudo-2-button) thing drives me absolutely insane!
So, tapping the trackpad with two fingers, or resting two fingers on the trackpad while pressing the button is too much for you to handle? That's how 2nd-button clicking is done on MacBooks and MacBook Pros. Configure it in System Preferences.

why it is not a deal

Ok, so I didn't read all the posts, but from the ones I did read why hasn't anyone brought up the fact that for $75 bucks on amazon you can get the Logitech wireless mound AND keyboard?

I just got it and it is absolutely incredible, especially the mouse - volume, scroll, back, forward, etc, and feels MUCH better than the mighty mouse, which I bought the day it came out some time ago.

I would say because as nice as the logitech equipment looks (and I mean that in all seriousness), it isn't as beautiful as the apple equipment. Also, if I'm going to buy a wireless mouse I want it to be truely wireless, meaning no dongle.

Please let us know how it works for ya. And do you have windows? Could you try it on there and tell me if it works? I really want to know, I'll buy one if it does.

Have you read this thread? Or the mouse specs?

yes, what's your point? it's still subpar (no improvements mentioned but BT and laser) compared to high performing, multiple button mice.

You must have a little more than zero interest or you would never have read this thread or posted a response. I'd say at least 2-3% interest. :)

I have to admit that I have almost zero interest in this.

Has anyone noticed that they arn't they offering this an option when you buy a new mac? Why not? I will be very annoyed if it isn't a customisable option when the Mac Pros are released!

Maybe the site is still being updated and it will be an option later. I hope!

£49 in UK is too much, that's $90 for a mouse

£49 = AUD$120, we pay AUD$109.

However US$69 = AUD$92

British price includes VAT, US price doesn't include the varying state taxes, now, if we take the GST off the Aussie price (I really wish the US would cotton onto the idea of displaying the full price for a good or service) we get AUD$99.09.

The cheapest decent quality wireless (RF) Laser mouse I could find today was MS's new one and it was AUD$99, it has four buttons. For $10 extra you get Bluetooth and a much nicer design - not to mention the integration into OSX, MS's Intellipoint software is both terrible and intrusive.

So we're not really getting shafted all that much.
