It's behavior like this that makes responsible mature Apple enthusiasts look bad.when the fedex guy shows up, i'm gonna video tape and question him where the door tag is, who signed for both packages, and get his response. gonna make it not noticable and leave his face out of it, but it should be pretty entertaining.

thanks guys for the mental support guys...i cracked a beer and feeling a bit more relaxed. i'll let you know the outcome.
you really don't have to do that...very few people here care...![]()
There is at least some merit to what the OP is saying; regardless of his personal antics.
My package today @ 2:59 got marked as Exception customer not at home or business closed.
Huh, I left a waiver on the door, what kinda tomfoolery was going on!?
So, I call FedEx and they tell me the driver has the discretion to not leave it (even with a waiver) if he feels the package isn't safe. Then he tells me I can travel to the hub and pick it up after 5pm.
Huh, driver discretion!? R U SERIOUS!?
So I accepted it for the moment and continued to monitor the tracking recoginizing that very few customer service reps EVER know what they're talking about.
3:11pm... BAM!!! Package delivered!!!
So, Fedex, customer service and the driver (electronically) LIED to me, just to keep themselves in the clear.
I sure it's a some alluded to, that these drivers today are swamped and are cutting corners to cover their arses.
I actually like FedEx too![]()
Normally i would just let this go but I thought I remembered the OP. In an earlier thread he was the one who called complaining to Apple about delivery trying to get a free case/Smart cover. This was on the 11th and he called Apple complaining that his tracking numbers weren't working. He said he talked to two people hoping they would offer free smart covers.
Sorry jazzmanmonty, if it did happen like you said I guess karma came around and bit you.
