Buy Black Now, Return Later for White

I was unsure about weather to get black or white I saw the news and I bought black im not going to return it its just a color and just a phone.

@ those of you who are buying black iPhones just to return them for a white one: you really are douche bags. There are people who wanted to get a black one to keep, and you stole them from those people, just so you can have your freaking instant gratification. Just keep the damn black ones for christ's sake.

Actually it would be Apple that is the douche bag in this situation. For them to not even mention anything about the white not being available is a big F U to their customers. People are more than understanding if there are QC issues or something happened in production. If they would have come out and said as much people would be disappointed but they would wait. If Apple got stuck with tens or hundreds of thousands of returned iPhones for people switching then they would deserve it.

They deserve it?

No company deserves to be screwed over because someone was impatient and didn't want to wait for their COLOR of a phone to be available. Talk about childish.
 
So you guys are saying that I'm a douche/tool because I had to wait online for 16 hours straight (not even joking) to pre order 3 iPhones one at a time? Its not like all three are mine. One is for dad, one is for bro. I think I deserve to preorder more than one if I have that kind of patience.

Well if it helps anybody, I'll think of those that didn't get a phone on launch day while I get my 6 delivered to me from ATT, and JUST IN CASE it doesn't go as planned, I have 6 on reserve at the apple store down the road for launch day as well.

Its not going to really kill me either way as when the white comes out Ill get it. And yes they do deserve it. You tell millions of customers that they can order the white on June 15th (It is in the keynote) and then you suddenly not allow them to, with no word or reason whatsoever, and force people to either order black or wait with ZERO word on when they can order the white, then yea you deserve to have those people return the black one and get the one they were originally told they could get.

it's called patience, you learn it as a child and get better at it as you grow up. you sound like a 2 year old.
 
you guys are going to be getting hit with overstock fees and people wonder why people in America have so much credit card debt.

Apple made a mistake by not mentioning whatever problem is happening with the white. They will address this later, hopefully soon, and we will get answers, but you are being a pretty big tool. You really need that instant gratification of having an iPhone the day of launch? It's kind of sad you have to make somebody else miss out just so you can get the phone to return it..

Better yet, do crap like that and it causes prices to go up and fees, also more restrictions to be placed on electronics because of the losses Dealers and MFG's have to endure, Bright Idea, you should work for Microsoft :rolleyes:
