This is awful for all of us who bought the iPhone 5 on Sept. 21, 2012 and are on a two-year contract.

It's funny how every year the line increases. These people are waiting outside 20 days in advance. Next year, 25? 30? At what point are you waiting in line for 6 months for the new iPhone.

But you know I don't hate this, I think it's pretty funny and I find it entertaining to see these people doing this for some reason.

If a woman is pregnant while in line, and gives birth before the new iPhone becomes available, is the baby entitled to stay in the line; or does s/he have to go the the back of the line?

And what happens if the woman becomes pregnant while in line?

Start @ 6/12/15 or so-- for iPhone 6S (2015 Model) end around possible launch around 9/18/15 = 2,360 hours / 98 days / 3 months - 6 days ....

Exactly....I could see 1 day or possibly even 2...but 5 days?! That must mean no responsibilities, likely no significant others, no job, etc.

Honestly, there should be a law against anything longer than overnight "camping" on public property.

That's not the point. If I have to wait 48 hours to buy it, the shipping times will have slipped weeks at that point.

Not true, I bough mine in Oct 2011 and now I'm able to upgrade under ATT plan with discount. What carrier is yours?

Everyone has stated they are on AT&T and they can upgrade already if they bought it on Sept. 21. I'm on Verizon, and I just checked, it says I can't upgrade until 9/21/14.

I have been reading threads stating that Verizon does not allow you to upgrade early, even a few days, and they have been tightening the rule recently.
