I checked my emails after seeing that and had an email from Telus, but it was just an ad to say that iPhone X is now availableWell I finally got my tracking number from Telus this morning! It did ship yesterday (as scheduled), left Calgary last night and is apparently in my city right now...showed as "Item Processed" as of 7:15 am. Unfortunately it is showing expected delivery of 11/06 so I will have to wait over the weekend - so close yet so far
This is the longest day in the history of long days. My UPS guy has always been such a lolly-gagger and today is no different. I'll be expecting a 7pm delivery. I need to stay off this forum. Impatient and annoyed right now.
No I wish! I was #35 in line at the Apple Store (very large), and they told us at 7am that they only had 40 in stock of 64GB Space Grey, they didn't have anything else. Only the first people in line got the phone, and most got 2 each. When I left I estimate 100-130 people were lining up in total.
Don't unpair. You put the old phone next to the new phone and in prompt to use camera on old phone to scan circle on new phone (similar to first setup of watch) all the settings transfer over to new phone. Later it prompts you to pair the watch to the new phone. You only need to confirm on the watch that you want to pair. It's a walk in the park. Very quick.Ugh, thanks for reminding me what a long day it's gonna be. I forgot about having to repair my watch on top of updating my 7 plus so I can update the X and restore from backup.

Woohoo! Out for delivery! I won’t be home when it arrives so I’ll have to pick it up at the outlet. Which means I have to wait until the carrier actually gets it dropped off at the outlet.
Thinking of heading down to a Telus store after to grab a case to use until the one I actually want is in stock from the manufacturer.
Wow, I am sinking my music from iTunes on the MAC and I thought that I would try playing music on the X. I had to crank down the volume. Great sound. Added bonus
Mine was out for delivery at 6am, I’m in Richmond Hill. The UPS guy usually comes between 9:30 to 10:30.... way past that now.
Might be an all day waiting thing.

I am curious just to go see what it is like at the Telus store today, but the mayhem of people driving on slippery roads and the blowing snow is dulling that desire somewhat.

Brought my Mac to work just for the transfer.
Walked in to Yorkdale for my 10:30-11am pick up. 256gb space grey. Beautiful looking phone. Bonus was that, with the announcement from Fido, I was able to convert my pick up to a contract upgrade. Easy way to save $600 today!

Just a thought. Anyone else think its another kick in the teeth for us Nov 21-28 people that US carrier stores and Apple stores have more stock than is actually being sold? Why couldn't they have allocated that better? I feel like we've been taken for a ride. I've been planning to get this phone at launch for months, did everything right, and now I'll be one of the last to get the phone. I get that its first world problems, but it's hard not to be annoyed when you're the one being F'd with.

Couldn't agree more. And to add insult to injury, Canadian store availability was very limited outside the handful of flagship stores.... like I said in another thread, most stores had only space grey 64. I have a Silver 64 ordered for Nov 21-28, but I decided to pull the trigger on the Space Grey instead of waiting.
Wonder how many scalpers we're on line, probably 80% were scalpers dam hopefully they can't make any profits
