ya but how much are you paying per month? While I am in ontario, and buying outright, I only pay $34 a month for my 4gb plan on the telus network. So roughly 24gb per hour

In Alberta I’ll be able to get (with trade ins included) two 256gb iPhone X’s for less than the full cost of a 64gb iPhone X.
That’s with a 2 year contract. Not everyone is willing to sign up for those though. Personally doesn’t bother me, because I’m paying for cell service anyways. Might as well pay less upfront on the phones.
Holy crap?! Are you an Ontario Government employee??? Only rates I ever heard of that cheap (my uncle).ya but how much are you paying per month? While I am in ontario, and buying outright, I only pay $34 a month for my 4gb plan on the telus network.

Woohoo! The first of two Qi wireless chargers just arrived. (one's for the SUV)Should be able to do wireless charging and wireless airplay once I get my X.
Edit: Wireless CarPlay.

Thats the rub...I'm sure the business intelligence team in Cupertino have an idea of which models are going to be more popular...and hopefully the manufacturing rates reflect that.
Apple's always done this though. The entry model always has considerably less memory....so they force most people to upsell to more memory than they actually want. Guaranteed if there was a 128GB model, that likely would have been the most popular one. That's one of the aspects of these launches that I find most fascinating. How the heck do they really predict demand? Especially for the X. At the prices it's listed, I couldn't even imagine guessing the breakdown for 64 and 256.
Exactly, if Apple had 64 and 128GB, the 64 won't sell. Now the ones who are hesitating between 64 and 128 will get the 64GB, because the 256 is too overkill, and much more expensive of course.Apple's always done this though. Actually, most people will get the 256 that need 128....because they can't fit into 64.Exactly, if Apple had 64 and 128GB, the 64 won't sell. Now the ones who are hesitating between 64 and 128 will get the 64GB, because the 256 is too overkill, and much more expensive of course.

It’s through public mobile. 4gb and unlimited province wide calling. I pay around 34 after discounts. That's not typical for Ontario though....just took a quick look at planhub.ca - if you're willing to not have a calling plan, you can get a pretty cheap deal, but that's about it.

Word is, if you're ordering 2 you might want to make them separate orders....if the second one is held up, they'll hold the first until the second is ready to ship.

A day beforeIt's been a few years since I've preordered...if you manage to get your order in time for the first shipment, do phones in Canada typically get delivered ON launch day? I'll be going on vacation for 3wks on the 6th so I'm really hoping I'll get it in time-wondering if I'm better off trying to pick up in store instead.
if you'll be shooting/storing any kind of high quality video, 256 is really the only option. Can't decide between silver 64 gb or silver 256 gb.
I currently have 128b with 95gb free. So The 64Gb would be more than enough, and I can save a good chunk of money. But what if I need more one day?!
I don't really. I take a few random pictures here and there. If I'm on vacation I take a few more pictures but nothing insane (eg. My last trip I only took like 30 pictures).if you'll be shooting/storing any kind of high quality video, 256 is really the only option.
Then 256 would be safe buy. Can't decide between silver 64 gb or silver 256 gb.
