I couldn't get into the app and ran into issues because I needed to re-add my gc/shipping address, so got 22nd-28th :(. Oh well...I'll be away for most of November, so if I wasn't going to get it on launch day, I would have needed to wait regardless. Would have been nice to have it for my trip though.

Order placed, but the app opened the store late. Tried to do store pick up but it sold out quick. By the time I went through the process I missed the first shipment. :(

Complete bullsh1t... had Nov 3rd delivery date then the App asked me to re-enter both my delivery address (which was saved in my app already) & home address (for a freakin’ gift card!)... of course, it slipped to Nov 21-28. Could be worse though, so I’m grateful for that.

Yea i didn't get in until 12:08, by then it was too late. Oh well it is what it is.

I think the big thing was people were able to get in quicker. I had order #1 in at 3:06 and order #2 in at 3:08 and i was pretty quick. Both expected delivery dates being Nov 21-28.
 
I couldn't get in until 3:10am, and by that point all colors/sizes were "2-3 weeks" with delivery Nov 21-28. Weird how it rolled out, because plenty of people from the U.S. were complaining on Twitter that they couldn't get in to order either. And clearly some Canadians got in shortly after 3am ET too.

My wife and I got in at 3:03 and ordered 1 x 64gb Silver for her and 1 x 64gb Space Grey for me delivering November 3rd. Ordered on our IPhone 7 Plus using LTE (didn’t trust my WiFi).

Was lucky enough to get 256 silver for in store pickup on the 3rd. Sorry if this has been asked already, but on this I paid the full $1500. Does this mean when I pickup my only option is to go on a "bring your own device" plan, or when I pickup will the Apple Store rep be able to put me on a subsidized plan?
 
Neither my iPhone nor iPad was the app getting through to the store, but the web page loaded on the Mac - and it STILL messed up! Forced me to re-enter my address (I'm like "WTF?! I've ordered online from Apple before...this is BS!!!") SOAB!!!! GRRRR!!!

Apple Pay then proceeded to mess up twice before it took.

Nov 20-27 ship date. :(

Congrats to everyone who got it early. I'm hoping it ends up being one of those times where Apple says 2-3 weeks but it ends up being a bit earlier. Either way im fine with mid-to-end of November. Time to get back to normal life! I think I'll stay away from review videos as well until i get my hands on it.

I was trying through the app on 2 iOS devices as well as the website on my laptop. Didn't have any luck until about 3:10, when the laptop finally loaded the site (the app on my iPhone and iPad STILL wasn't working). By then they were all down to 2-3 weeks, Nov 21-28. :(

Oh well. Ordered a 256GB Silver. The 2-3 weeks will give me time to change my mind. :p

so i put the wrong postal code for my shipping address. but billing address is correct. Should I be worried?

So how do I get my money back since I've already paid the full price to Apple. Apple undoes that transaction, or great big credit for $500-ish comes through my phone bill (Rogers) and Apple-Rogers sort out the rest between each other?

I don’t think you did it right, you have to choose the reserve and pick up option which started nov 4. You purchased an unlocked one at full price. Maybe if Apple is nice will let u return it and rebuy through carrier but I doubt it

You’d basically return it (so make sure you have the receipt) and then Apple resells it to you on a rate plan.
 
Got into the app at 3:04 had the phone already set up in my favourites, used Apple Pay and order went through instantly

Had an auto clicker going on my Mac and the web store did not open for me at all until about 10 after

Very disappointed! App Store didn’t open till 12:06
Already missed launch day, first time I didn’t get the phone on launch day

@hr10 - +1 - even with the mess-ups that the apps did and having to re-enter my address on the web page and having to do Apple Pay twice (maybe 3x?) before it took, when I looked at the clock, my order was in at 12:06, time stamp on my confirmation e-mail was 12:08....and I still got Nov 20th. :(

Here's a question for everyone - login to your credit card website (bank) - do you have two $0 charges? I do. One from "Visa Provisioning" and one from the Apple Online store. Never saw that before when using Apple Pay. Wondering if maybe we'll all get lucky and our delivery date will change?? :)

Didn't see any option to even order through carrier in the Apple Store app order process but maybe in the heat of the moment I missed something.

Did basically the same thing in 2014 for the 6+ (yay driving 4 hours round trip for a phone thats now worth not a whole lot more than the gas+depreciation it took to get it :) )... but at that time there was definitely an option to select it as a carrier upgrade right during the Apple order process. Will verify with Apple/Rogers tomorrow when their folks are awake.
