Same here! Just changed to preparing for shipment!

Still says 21-28th but I’m guessing(hoping) it’ll be here by Friday.
 
Silver 256 GB. Mine has changed to shipped overnight. Pending charge on my cc. Still shows delivers by Nov 21-28 in the App. However, the tracking number says delivers by Friday Nov 10. A little concerned that it is "No signature required" anyone else?
 
All of you people that your status has changed to PFS...chances are you can find your tracking on the UPS site by doing a reference search (phone number associated with the order or order number, less the last two digits).
 
I imagine they'll save that stock for tomorrow at 6 am. And I'm thinking there was no new stock this morning because UPS doesn't deliver on the weekends. So tomorrow should be pretty good.
fingers crossed! I have to get up at 6 for work anyways but if i can reserve one, would they let my brother pick it up? say if he had my license and what not?

P.S. same address and last name on ours ids as well!

Probably not. You can put his info in for picking it up though. And he will have to pay on his card.

They do say two pieces of ID - so you should give him your license and something else (the credit card you're paying with should work) :)

Normally you specify a different person to pick it up when doing the reservation, but considering how quickly you need to finalize these, I wouldn't try...you may miss out. :) You could call Apple after the fact - maybe have them update the reservation to state that then?

I definitely would not risk that.
 
Happy that everyone is finally getting their phones. Looking back, Apple really screwed this launch up big time for international customers.
 
Ditto here. Mine just changed as well. Still showing Nov 21-28 though. Hopefully that will get bumped.
confirmation of order email received at 12:06, given Nov. 21-28 shipping. Updated to preparing for shipment yesterday afternoon. Received shipped email overnight with tracking. Tracking says Nov. 14 delivery, phone still in China. In the Apple app, even though status is shipped, order still says "Delivers 21 Nov - 28 Nov."
 
Same here W54, 12:30 confirmation email. Hopefully moves in next couple days.

For reference, my order is W492**** card was charged 3 hours ago. Listed as preparing for shipment, delivery dates still haven’t changed. Still says Nov 21-28
 
I feel lucky to have been able to get a reservation last Saturday. I wonder if Apple had allotted some phones for the stores over the weekend to keep the hype rolling. It certainly has slowed down now.

The stores had allocated stock from the very beginning (both for reservations and for walk-ins separately). Once the reservation stock was depleted a first time, the number of phones available each day afterwards would be much smaller by comparison. They are getting a trickle of shipments whereas before saturday they got one big shipment.

Same here... I woke up and reserved a phone and was able to pick it up. I then cancelled my 21st-28th delivery.

I keep hoping that everyone gets their phones soon. I got my X (coming from an 8 Plus which I just sold this afternoon) and I love it!

Calling after the fact to get someone else as the contact picking it up? That's quite safe. While we can't change that on the web interface Apple customer service certainly should be able to.

The alternative - him taking her ID - with his ID having the same last name and address? Yeah, I don't see there being a problem as well with that (they're going to be reasonable) - but I'd still likely try to get the reservation updated instead.

After a moment of nothing I asked here if she could ask somebody else to find out exactly how much time I have to buy it. If I didn’t ask, “I don’t know” would be the answer. Lol

Sign up for UPS My Choice and redirect it to your closest UPS store. That's what I'm doing. Will be too hard to get another one quickly if someone steals it off my front steps.

Heh. Well, that's a knowledge thing. When I originally picked up the 256, I was setting it up in store so I could charge it on the way home - the lady sitting opposite me was getting setup with her first Apple Watch - a cellular S3. I asked her which carrier she had it setup on. She told me Rogers. The Apple "Genius" she had talked to had told her that it would work on Rogers and that it would roam ok in the US.
Rogers doesn't yet have eSIM provisioning configured in their network (strike one) and VoLTE roaming has not yet been standardized by the GSMA (strike two). Another "Genius" confirmed what I told her....they were trying to track down who it was so they could be educated.....they refunded her watch purchase and hooked her up with an S3 non-cellular. :)

When I went to bed, my order said "Processing Items" with expected delivery Nov 21-28. Woke up to "Shipped" status this morning with expected delivery on the UPS site as Nov. 10. Fingers crossed!

NOOOOOOO!!! Sending it to a UPS Store will often cause you a day's delay (as the stores usually don't get their deliveries/pick-ups until the end of the day).
Get it delivered to your UPS CC - the hub that it would get routed to on the way to your home - that way you might be able to pick it up on the way to work (depends on their hours).

But do it quickly! Once your package gets a "destination scan" any change in destination will cause a delay.
 
On a side topic I can’t get CNN notifications to work under any circumstances. I’ve tried deleting, reinstalling rebooting, nothing. Anyone else who uses CNN and notifications having that problem?
