Ok, now you guys need to monitor it for the remainder of the day - we still see units come available (either they're getting reservation cancellations, or they have random stock dropping in every day) - me, because of the small volumes, I think it's the former, but we've been told that the stores will receive small shipments constantly.
I also wonder if this wasn't Apple's plan from the beginning....allow a trickle of devices to the stores once the initial walk-in stock is gone to keep the buzz going...regardless of how many they have in warehouses. Heh. I guess that's a pretty cynical view.

I already have mine - I figured I'd configure an alert just to see if it became available at all.
Tried reserving the phone to be picked up at 6:05 this morning, no luck. Going to try Eaton at 10am when they open.
All the Vancouver ones showed up last night to buy and pickup (not reserve) and were available for 30 minutes. Not sure if that was just while being checked in and that they’ll reappear at 6am or not.
In other news, my iPhone is now in Korea, but still says arriving Friday.

if I really want one, I will just drive to winnipeg. it seems like they have lots of 256gb in stock, but calgary/edmonton have 0.
Well, you should be watching Masonville as well - they seem to get a lot more stock than Conestoga does.

Are you willing to drive to get it? It showed up in Mississauga (Square One) as well as the Eaton Centre today.
I know Waterloo would be ideal....you may be waiting a few days yet before they get stock.
We've seen virtually any store, even if they have stock, force you to make a reservation - they want to assign a "Genius" to you - whether you want one or not.
But, if you're lucky enough to walk in and not all of their stock has been allocated to reservations already, then you can get a phone reserved.
Yeah I don't think they'd have walk-ins right now given that most people are probably reserving online.
I just reserved a 256 silver. The exact one I wanted. Vancouver got a nice stock of 256 go for the reservation system this morning. If you’re still looking, have faith, Vancouver was very quiet until today.
I tried the last three mornings and it is impossible to get a reservation in Calgary. Saw a SG 64G available in West Edmonton for a few seconds this morning, but I am not willing to drive 5 plus hours to get the phone.

It's strange how Apple is hit and miss on requiring the signature.
As they've stated that, it's really at your driver's discretion whether they want to leave it at the door or not. How far away is your UPS Customer Centre? (the hub that your UPS trucks are loaded at each morning).
Me, I'd have it held at the hub and pick it up, so it doesn't go missing.
After using the phone since Friday, I think I might be returning it and getting the 8 Plus instead. I really don’t like how the screen is taller but skinnier than the Plus. Feels like a downgrade to me.
