If there is going to be new stuff, you won't see it until 8:30 EDT. That's the time new stuff have been revealed in the past.

Noticeable changes so far

In the BTO menu for iMacs, you now have the option of choosing a Time Capsule and Apple TV.

Obviously nothing relevant to a refresh but explains partially what the update was for.
 
what a let down! I guess they will stick with the current iMac for another year. Screw Apple, I'm about to make the switch...back

Troll harder. WWDC hasn't even debuted yet. It's not Apple's fault you assumed the downtime was for a refresh.
 
What a waste

8 hours down time to sell some Fathers Day crud, aka, iPad 3.

Evidently we desktop users are indeed second class Apple citizens now and have no requirement apart from underpowered mobile devices - some of us actually still do DTP - suppose I'll be forced to do this on a iPad!

13 months and no revamp for iMac, we are now in Mac Pro territory!!!!
 
It isn't a letdown that Apple didn't just update the iMac at all. It would be a massive let down if the new iMac was refreshed in this way because that would mean no redesign. I want a massive song and dance and a presentation with fireworks and confetti. Then i want Tim cook to show us all the all new 2012 iMac. Not just a quiet refresh and spec bump.

They havent updated ANY mac models for over 7 months now, thats unprecedented.
 
I dont know about everyone else but I just get a blank screen when I hit the 'select' button on any of the options on the iMac page - UK Store

The store is back down again. No matter refresh or not, these up-n-downs with the website is just soo bad. It is 2012 and websites easy to manage. Amazingly unimpressive by Apple, especially given that this was just a maintenance thingy.
 
Not just maintence folks.

At least for US Store, there is a new loan program for students/teachers wanting to purchase. They can now apply for a loan through Royal Bank of Scotland either by themselves or with a co-applicant and get instant approval for a purchase.

As for everyone who says they will wait til "such and such a date" and if nothing new is out they are jumping ship...A) you're stupid. And B) no you won't. That's like any of those morons that say they are going to leave the US if so and so does/does not get elected/reelected. You know you're not going to leave Apple because it's the best out there. So sit your impatient ass down and just enjoy the show like the rest of us.
