I am going to concede the fact that if my one phone that is in Calgary hasn't moved by 10:00am we won't be getting that phone until Monday. (Depot is closed on Saturdays because UPS).

The other phone is just sitting waiting for a truck I am presuming.

Yep, it's still sitting at arrival for me too. I know I'm in Calgary but until it arrives at my door I'm not getting excited.

You will get yours!

My other one is sitting in Edmonton just not moving... says that one will deliver by 4:00pm. My other one says "end of day". But they have been listed like that since tracking went live.

Yay

i have 2 orders, one out on delivery and the other with this notice. called UPS and they said they cant do anything but wait until it clears, probably monday delivery

I wonder how many people are affected by this? Why would this one batch of iPhones be any different?

its frustrating. besides wanting it on launch date, i dont understand how a logistics company cannot even provide me with any updates, and blame it on customs. its as if they didnt foresee customs doing their inspection

I've been tracking ship times on the Apple Store (Canada & Worldwide) since pre-orders begun, and they actually went relatively smoothly for the 6s (not so much for the 6s Plus).

For anyone who's interested, here's how Canadian & Worldwide ship times on the Apple Store look like as of today (for anyone looking to order an iPhone 6s / 6s Plus now):

I don't like the + it's too big, I'm getting 6S silver 64 gb and i'm happy

UPS does that in the hopes you don't contact Apple. They get dinged with huge penalties for missed commitments.

Which, btw, anyone that was given today by Apple and it looks like you're not going to get it (if UPS is saying Monday), and you're in a metro area (any major city) that is eligible for Saturday delivery, you can always call UPS and request Saturday delivery. If they say no, then call Apple (or tell the UPS rep that your next call is to Apple). That's what they want to avoid - as it's penalties (and hurts their relationship with Apple). You never know...they miss enough of these, FedEx may get the next launch.

Just got a departure scan..if they fly it to Edmonton imma going back to bed..lol. Hopefully it means departure to go on the truck.

Tracking just got updated for me again and it appears my phone missed the flight to Moncton entirely as it was just scanned 20 minutes ago in Lachine, QC and the delivery date updated again to Monday. How did UPS botch this so badly?

i will contact them again in the afternoon, do you know if they will do a saturday delivery to another location? i had it being shipped to my office for today, but will be home tomorrow. is there a way to pick it up anywhere?

Who wants to wait until Saturday?? ;) The whole point of preordering at 3am was to get the phone today. If it doesn't come today, I'll just let Apple know how disappointed I was in the process. If that results in UPS getting dinged, so be it. Anyway, we'll see what happens.

Doing an address change is likely to cause a delay. Do you know where your local depot is? (hmm...many of them aren't open Saturdays). It really depends on where it's going to be and when. If there's any way that they can get it to your local hub/depot tonight while they're still open, then you can have them hold it there and pick it up.

The service that Apple pays for isn't actually eligible for Saturday deliveries, but UPS will do it in areas that they offer Saturday deliveries in order to avoid penalties (if you got today as your date from Apple, then UPS is liable).

See if they're able to hold it somewhere you can access it today. Otherwise, try to get them to deliver it to your house tomorrow. Good luck! :)

This sucks! I waiting till 3am when I work at 6 just to preorder a phone, have someone home for me during the day, go to check update, customs..... R u effing kidding me apple. Well at least I reserved a couple iPhones have to go drop another $1300, and return the one I ordered early.

Heh...saying Saturday's better than Monday. :) You never know...maybe if you complain to Apple just the right way, you might get a gift card out of them for your troubles.

Phone is "On Vehicle for Delivery Today", last year I got my phone around noon. If it is the same this year, I'll get my phone in an hour or so.

Just got off the phone with UPS, they confirmed an entire shipment of iPhones heading to Atlantic Canada was released too late by Customs in Montreal and won't be delivered until Monday. Good hustle out there, boys.

Oh COME ON....

8:29 am Delivery exception _, BC
Future delivery requested
8:29 am At local FedEx facility _, BC
6:49 am At destination sort facility VANCOUVER, BC

Phone has arrived. I got one of the Week 36 phones and it's been sitting in Concorde for a while.

UPS tracking was a bit weird; it was never on the truck for delivery. It went right from Destination scan to being in my hands.

I already have one iPhone out for delivery. So does my friend.

Only 6s plus didn't make it. Well for me and my friend.

But ups has poor service. Like they go out on trucks at 7am and they got scanned for arrival at 6am. lol
