I just got off the phone with UPS about my 6S+ that's being held in the warehouse to see if I could just pick it up instead of waiting until Monday. The CSR said it looks like the package hadn't been cleared by customs yet.

I had to wait at work till after 5 to get my iPhone 5. Now with FedEx this year I'm getting it by noon.
Well maybe if they hadn't been sitting in KY for 2 days doing nothing they would have cleared on time....ugh

My RG iPhone is still in Calgary. Doubting that it can make it here for afternoon delivery. But I have had items go into delivery on truck in the afternoon before.

Mine went from Mirabel to Lachine, then Blainville and has been out for delivery since 2 hours after it landed in Mirabel. UPS man doesn't get to my town until the afternoon though so unless they have such increased volume due to the iPhones and needed to call in more trucks (doubtful) it'll be late afternoon for me.
Umm, no, they didn't. There isn't an airport at Concord. They fly in from Louisville to Mount Hope, then sorting at Concorde, then back to Mount Hope if they need to fly out again.
I never understood why they put the distro centre at Concord and not right by the airport (they're about an hour apart).
But, there's no way it went from Hamilton to Kitchener in an hour and stopped anywhere else, so they must be doing some sorting at the airport now. Here's hoping that they take Concord out of the equation...could speed things up by a couple hours for the rest of the country.

Sorry I was just basing the fact that it has been a typical UPS stream. I only ever see stuff go from concord to Mount Hope (being from western Canada).
Yeah, I don't know where that 11:15am is from, the warehouse is in my local time :S
Luckily enough I'm off today, so I can just drive down to mississauga and pick it up once it clears.
If you're close enough to them, just call once the status updates and ask if you can pick it up at the warehouse.
I wonder why they do that. I think they should give everyone the same tracking info (especially as you've pre-ordered...the info's there right from the sourcing in China). The only time it isn't is when Apple's pre-populated their warehouses - then you see origin scans in the US.
Wow! An extra flight! Not sure that's great for you guys in T.O. though. Concord's also your local hub - most of your deliveries are done out of there. Bringing a shipment in through Pearson's likely going to slow things down a bit.Whelp.

i have 2 orders, one out on delivery and the other with this notice. called UPS and they said they cant do anything but wait until it clears, probably monday delivery
I am going to concede the fact that if my one phone that is in Calgary hasn't moved by 10:00am we won't be getting that phone until Monday. (Depot is closed on Saturdays because UPS).
