Well the Apple Store doesn't open till 10am so I'm thinking ... maybe they don't want people scalping their presales to people in line? *shrug*

The Fedex facility is literately only slightly farther away than the Apple store is from me.

The apple stores in BC aren't opening early? I thought all were open at 8:00am local?

No clue, my guess is they wanted to make sure there weren't many early deliveries. Or maybe there's different shipments for the Plus/Non-plus? I got a 6s Plus 64GB Space Gray.
Now, my delivery estimate has gone from ∞ to today, however it is almost 1:00 and still in lachine. Hopefully I will at least be able to pick up at the depot over the weekend. Very unimpressed by UPS.

For all you guys that had your phone sit in an airport somewhere for a few days without movement, they've artificially held them back for the launch day. My phone has been in town since Tuesday.

This is just the sort of controlling behaviour I've come to expect from Apple.

But ups has poor service. Like they go out on trucks at 7am and they got scanned for arrival at 6am. lol

It may be just the last batch of phones that shipped out from China, I think they tried to cut it close and got bit by customs. Or they're saying it's customs to cover their mistake. :)
 
Oh well, Post Canada just passed and no iPhone for me, just some useless crap... Monday it is then :(

iPhone requires a signature so the door truck might pass after, usually normal postman won't have it

Also COME ON UPS TRUCK
 
My Telus iPhone 6S just showed up in a Canada Post truck (just before noon, Toronto). Setting it up now.
 
Suppose to be on vehicle for delivery yet it's still in Calgary(I live in Vancouver), canadapost, it's looking grime :(
 
I'm sitting here with windows open (freezing) and all noise making appliances off so if the truck comes I can hear it.

So, if anyone else has any kind of tracking update that says anything like "receiver has requested clearance by a non-ups broker, you are caught in the same as me. I called UPS and this is the lowdown. As you know, Apple ships pallets of goods. If your phone is on the same pallet as someone who has in fact requested this, it will delay the whole pallet. Not just their phone. So obviously some asshat on my pallet has an account with UPS that shows a different customs broker. The CSR also told me that as soon as I see the warehouse scan, I can call them and arrange to go pick up tonight. I am waiting for that to happen.

At least you guys know why yours are delayed.

Mine has been sitting at the destination hub for over 3 hours now. The other one is enroute to the destination hub by unknown transportation.
 
Ugh... from 12:00pm delivery to 9:00 pm. Just called FedEx and advised this is an office building so they need to deliver by 4:30pm before the receptionist leaves. The agent added a note to my file to advise of this so they can prioritise it over residential deliveries.

Guess I will be hanging around the office longer than expected :)

It's odd on one of my tracking they've identified that it's being delivered to a business and must be delivered by 4:00pm... the other just says end of day which likely means Monday. Same address used for both orders.
 
My phones arrived two hours ago. Couldn't find my password to login into macrumours as I haven't been on in ages! They are amazing ! Crazy fast.
