@dave006 I went to set up things again. It had AT&T set as activating. I clicked it and then confirmed my address. It seems to have been activated and is fully working now. Woohoo! Will have to test the watch when I'm away from my phone.
great to hear... please test if you can send regular SMS when away from phone. For iMessage you may need to sign out of your iMessage account and back in on your phone for it to work when not tethered.@dave006 I went to set up things again. It had AT&T set as activating. That is the reason that I keep typing over and over about the $10 Unlimited Wearable plan. The iPad by the way is $20 per month. Maybe the rep was trying an upsell.
Once you get the wearable line correct, let's get past the list of 11 devices on your account. Follow this link to create a specific ID to manage NumberSync for just your iPhone and watch. Please then use this new ID to log in during the Set up cellular step for your Watch app on your iPhone.

I am on a 10G mobile share plan, they added the unlimited wearables plan to my account. All the reps have talked about a $10 plan, because I don't have an unlimited data plan. It's that they say my 30GB mobile share with roll over is not compatible. They won't do the $10 Unlimited Wearable Plan becauseI have the wrong rate plan.
For anyone who actually has their watch fully working... are you able to send regular (green) SMS when away from your phone and connected to LTE?
Never heard of or encountered this problem yet... just goes to show there are so many issues with the service right now. So many that they dont have a fix for a lot of them. I really do think this is why they are giving the first three months free.Yes! For sure when the iPhone is still on and out of range.
However a call from the unlinked mobile no iMessage etc to my iPhone/watch GOES STRAIGHT TO VOICE MAIL EVERYTIME!
How do I fix this?
After 10 hours with att support and a 2 hour Apple store visit att finally got it activated!! Text and calls working. Advanced technical support said manager was going to try something different on like the 20th activation attempt. Didn’t say what it was but it worked.
Go to your iPhone Setting > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling it should be on and the option to Update your emergency address. Click on Update Emergency Address.Does anyone know how to resolve the e911 address issue. If you are not familiar, I set up cellular, log into numbersync and it brings me to the 911 address screen. It has my old address, so I change it to my current address. I hit ok and I get an error that they could not verify the address. I try again and keep my old address and it still says it can't verify the address. I go onto the phone to double check the emergency address and the numbersync address under wifi calling. The change address option has my current address. When I click the change numbersync address, there are about seven different Apple Watch options as well as my phone and other devices set up for wifi calling. I check each one and they all have the same current address.
1. How do I get the address to verify when confirming the address in the numbersync portion of the set up cellular in the watch app?
2. How do I get rid of all the Apple Watch options under change numbersync address on the phone? No wearables show up on the ATT web site under numbersync wearables
It at least provides a ray of hope that it is still possible, just need someone that has a clue. How is that supposed to help anyone who still can't activate?
Go to your iPhone Setting > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling it should be on and the option to Update your emergency address. Click on Update Emergency Address.

Lots of posted but again for your specific Mobile Share plan the $10 Plan for you should say something Mobile share access fee or something similar. His system refused to let him "park" the EID and IMEI number on a $10 wearable data on my plan. Now on to Apple watch support at ATT.
Great for you! Again Thanks for posting when it actually works. Go play and check back please.@dave006 I went to set up things again. It had AT&T set as activating. Is it 6 digits? It is for the device that just accessed iCloud and needs to be confirmed I would hazard to guess.Okay. so I just restarted my watch, and I am getting an Apple ID verification code... cool but what am I supposed to do with this?

That's is very odd since that is a required pre-req so that should have been called out like HD Voice is in the setup.FWIW, I had WiFi calling turned off. Of course I had the Office of the President connect me with a senior support technician (Lauren). She was awesome!

General note to all: If any rep tells you that you need a new SIM for you Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS & LTE), just say Thank you and try again with another rep. You can't use a physical SIM.

OK, let's start by turning off Wi-Fi calling on your iPhone and restarting. Go back to settings and enable Wi-Fi calling again, something is very wrong here but I know that you are living it.I have done that already, several times.
It doesn’t work when I try on the set up cellular > NumberSync > verify address
And, how do I get rid of all the NumberSync devices in the phone under WiFi calling > update emergency address > change NumberSync address?

Yea paused at your mention of 11 but I thought that 30 GB plans and above had the 15 device cap. I can check on my side. She entered $10 unlimited wearable plan, and it doesn't say anything about Mobile Share Access Fee. She says the error is saying we've exceeded our allow number of devices. So I'm asking her if we now have multiple parked lines, since the last time we added device #11 a few months ago we were told we could go up to 15 lines.I'm still on the phone after 3 hours.
I’ll try it...keep you posted.
You are going to need to go through NumberSync again. It appears that it did not complete. Just confirming that you never received an email or text with something like "Welcome to NumberSync..."Yes! For sure when the iPhone is still on and out of range.
However a call from the unlinked mobile no iMessage etc to my iPhone/watch GOES STRAIGHT TO VOICE MAIL EVERYTIME! And yes I do get the missed call update when I look for it on my watch. The iPhone is still live.
