Nice! Thanks! I too ordered mine through the Premier portal, but the order status link they had in my confirmation email did not have any of these details. My order shows pending shipment with qty backordered at 0. Sweet!

GF do you have any insight for shipping times for those of us who were not able to order until later? I was out of the country and without phone access until Sunday, so I ordered through Premier AT&T on Sunday morning. I ordered a 16GB Black phone. It says 14-21 business days on my email and it just says "IN PROGRESS" on the website listed above. Do you think that I really might have to wait until mid October for delivery? Thanks for your opinion.

I presume the "slots" are allocated based on processing times and not order times? I ordered at 3:45am eastern but was for an unknown reason flagged for identity verification. I did this but didn't get the email telling me this until 10:30am and after being on hold for 2 hours while they worked through the process, I didn't get the processed email until 12:45pm.
I suppose this would explain why mine is still backordered?

Ordered 16gb black at around 5am pacific and got a confirmation email right after saying it would be delivered as soon as friday... checked today and still says back ordered.. Just making sure, If that doesn't change by tomorrow I won't get my phone on friday?
So, does this logic hold true for the White 32 GB??

What about someone in my situation. I ordered my 32gb black iphone 5 on the 14th thru ATT premier at approx 3:53 a.m. pacific and received a confirmation email at 3:58 stating that they received my order and it will arrive the 21st. that same morning noticed a hold for the amount of the phone on my bank account...that since has disapeared....i have the status of one phone on backorder/processing when i do the order info.....will i still get mine on the 21st? thanks for any help~Chris
I have a similar question. Ordered @ 7:22 AM on 9/14 through premier, but the regular website believes my order was placed 9/16 (Sunday!).
Yeah I don't get this either, mine says I placed mine on 9/15 even though I ordered at 5 am pacific on friday
My black 16GB and white 16GB ordered from Apple.com are coming from Nashville, TN. Not that I mind

My backorder number went from 1 to 0 on 9/15 (I ordered a 32GB black at around 12:10am PST 9/14 from AT&T's website, regular customer).
I imagine that because I ordered something other than a 16GB black, my order is shipping from China, yes?
I'm in the same boat as well. I placed two separate orders @ 7:26 AM EST and 7:35 AM EST. The first one has an order date of 9/15 and the second is 9/16! Both still show back ordered.
Here are my 2 orders..
White 16GB - ordered In-Store at 8AM PST...says "QTY Back-ordered: 1"
Black 16GB - ordered by phone with my Premier rep at 12PM PST...says "QTY Back-ordered: 0"

I am not part of that supply chain, however on our end, if the back order number is 0 your phone will arrive by Fri. however, this will all change on Thursday @ 1540 EST... If you do not have a back order of zero by that time, you will not have a phone on Friday.
Quick question for you, do you believe people who still have a 1 under backorder quantity might have a shot at that changing to 0 by tomorrow? My order was placed by 7am CDT on the premier website and I see people after me having a 0 in that column now. Thanks for your time and patience with these redundant questions.
I ordered mine at about 1pm PST on the 14th over the phone so I'm not expecting one on launch day, but I'm curious as to why my order status says that I ordered on the 15th?

Do you happen to know how Premier Store orders are treated? Is there a separate stock of phones allocated specifically for Premier orders? Or were these orders just thrown into the mix with all of the other AT&T orders?

Well crud. When I tried to order online Friday, the site wasn't working, so I called AT&T at 7am and got my order in that way. Nancy was quite nice and informed me that it showed a shipping arrival of 9/21, however I check now and have a 1 in the back-ordered column. Boo, Nancy. Boo.
