I received my black Capsule Rebel for my black iPhone 3G a couple of days ago, after ordering July 26th. It was worth the wait.

Appleprostore will definitely get my business again. I ordered before they were told by Switcheasy to raise their prices; plus, there is a 10% web coupon code for discount.

I had thought about the Arctic but if it's milky in colour that doesn't work for me. The black is perfect. One day I might switch out for something more colourful.

Oh, and I'm using the anti-glare Power Support screen protector, from the (actual) Apple store. A great combination.

Now to return the boring but nearly practical inCase Protective Cover (clever name!) which served me until now...

I also have the InCase Protective Cover and I also want to return it. I wonder if they still take it after more than a month and used =/

I'm still debating whether to get the Revo2 or the Capsule Rebel...I don't know!

quick question...has anyone had their bezel scratched by this case?

the bottom part of my bezel has been scratched by this case.

I stopped using it.

I really hate this case now.

Anyone know if I can return it? I just think it's garbage. It fit fine for the first few days, then the bottom started to get loose and ended up scratching my bezel.

Oh well. I just got a Beyza case and am so much happier with it.

Am I the only one who has emailed Switcheasy to complain about the Capsule Rebel soft case 'saggy' and not received a reply? I emailed them about a week ago, asking for refund or exchange...

I saw people mention checking their tracking number. I ordered mine on Sunday and Monday morning received an email stating that all orders were ready to ship out Monday morning but it didn't have a tracking number and I haven't received any further emails. I'm hoping it arrives today but would be nice to have a tracking number to get an idea. I got my BodyGuardz yesterday which I also ordered on Sunday and was shipped USPS from Utah. So hopefully today or tomorrow for the Rebel from CA.

Same thing here. I ordered last Friday night, and still haven't gotten mine. All I got was the e-mail that said it would be shipped out Monday.

Is the loose fit problem limited to the black and white models of Capsule Rebel?

I'm very interested in getting the Skeleton...

I ordered mine Monday morning and it arrived this afternoon (I'm in St. Louis). But I can't test it out because I'm getting my iPhone tomorrow. I never got any tracking number after they sent the shipping notice email.

love this case

Got an Arctic today, looks great fits great and love the feel of it.
Shipping took 3 days. just FYI:D:apple::apple::apple::apple:

Holy crap, their customer service is awesome!

I complained about mine getting loose and the bottom stretching and they gave me a full refund.

Switcheasy is a great company!

Thanks Zoltan!

Can anyone who has an artic capsule rebel confirm that if I have an iPhone with a uniqueskin's vinyl/sticker on the back it'll still be visible through this case?

I'm confused between the artic capsule rebel and the new colors case by switcheasy..I liked Mican but unfortunately my skin won't be seen in those...

I bought mine from one of the Apple Stores in Toronto--how likely is it that you bought from the same place?

Anyways, they told me when I bought it that I could return it, intact and in the original packaging, for two weeks, for any reason. It's like new and you couldn't tell from the package it was used, but I still hope they don't put it back on the shelf.

I ordered the SKELETON color on Aug 5th and received it on the 12th. When I opened my package it was the BLACK. This really irritated me because I have a white phone and if I wanted my phone to be black I would have ordered the black phone. I emailed Chris and he just told me to email him my address and he would send me the SKELETON. I wonder if they are going to want back the BLACK. I offered to send it back, but he did not mention to send it back. I stated that I understood the shipping taking so long due to the SKELETON being out of stock, but then to receive the black, this made no sense. I told them I've gone long enough without a case on my phone so I was going to use the black until I received my originally ordered SKELETON color. Your opinions, should I use the black now and send it back used? Keep it sealed and send it back? Keep both? I really have no use for the black, probably just to cover my phone for the time being.

^ IMO it is only fair to use it for now to protect your phone, but try to be gentle on it. Once your new case comes, email Zoltan and see what he would like you to do with the black one.

Live in the UK here, one of the few people from the UK buying one, ordered a black one off Amazon UK, last night, dispatched about midday today and awaiting delivery.

IMO one of the nicest looking cases for the iPhone 3G.

Not too worried about the sagging at the bottom, I have the invisible shield, there was a piece thats covering that part so I should be ok anyways.

The look of the case is really starting to grow on me. But i do feel the bottom is something i'm concerned with. Looking at it, it doesn't sag but i'm afraid of it getting caught on something and tear. I'm worrying too much!!!

For the people that have a perfect case, which i kinda thought mine was, if you pull on the bottom a little, does it pull away easily?

I'm 99% sure that when I read through this thread the first time I saw at least one other person that had the same problem (received wrong color) and they were told to just keep the first one and that the correct one was on the way... I'm not looking back thru all 17 pages to get you the post # tho :p

On the youtube videos and reviews, it says the bottom fits, but yes can move, that is normal.

Thanks man, I'll look back through the post and see if I can find the one that you're talking about. From the email that I was sent, it sounds like they are just going to send me the correct cover and not requiring me to send them the black one.

Customer service at Switcheasy is AMAZING

If you've been reading my last couple of post you know that I ordered my SKELETON colored case and received a black one. I let the guys at Switcheasy know about the mistake this morning and in less than a day I get this email from Zoltan:

Here it comes the Skeleton!!

Please keep the black no need to send it back Sorry for our Mistake!!
It goes out in 45 minute!

Zoltan

When considering the scratching and scuffing of the glossy back part of the case, do you think that the skeleton model (white glossy spine) would hide the scratches better than the black model (black glossy spine)?

It seems that most of the people that have mentioned the scratches on the back of the case have been the black case owners.

I'm getting a black iPhone and would prefer the black case but at the same time would like to avoide excessive scratches to the back of the case.

Any input?

I'll let you know. But seriously, why are so many on this thread worried about scratching their case? I understand you don't want scratches on anything but it's much better to have your case scratched than your phone. Or you could get a box for your phone case and phone and hope that box doesn't get scratched.

To answer you more specifically, the black one I received already looked like it had scratches on it right out of the packaging. This may have been the lighting or the angle and plastic, but either way, you can only see it in direct light. Besides this is a $25 case, AND it's doing a damn good job at protecting your $1975($199+lowest minute plan) investment.

Depends what you prefer, chances are the case is going to be scratched. It just happens to be that black will more likely show scratches.

I hear what you're saying. I guess it's conflicting to have this sweet shiney unscratched iPhone inside of a beat up scratched up case. But when it comes to the primary purpose and cost it's not an issue.

This is kind of what I'm thinking. Scratches are going to happen either on the case or on your phone. If I can get a case that doesn't make the scratches stand out I'd prefer that. But then I'm straying from what the actual iPhone looks like.

This is good input for sure.
