They have since DM'd me and said the live chat is incorrect and the delivery is still expected for the 3rd.... think it's just going to be one of those cases where we probably won't know until Friday....

Promising but I'd expect us to know by tomorrow wouldn't we?

I would have thought our fate will be known by tomorrow evening

Don't pre order from CPW or any carrier if you don't want to be disappointed. If you want a guaranteed shipping estimate, order from Apple.

Every year I see people whining about deliveries, when they wilfully order from companies that promise or guarantee dates and then later backtrack or provide misleading information every year.

If you're new, hope you've learnt your lesson. I pre-ordered via Apple this year and I don't have to deal with all this headache anymore!

Also order through Apple if you want their app to randomly not let you in until 15 minutes after preorders opened, when all launch stock has gone..

Just got three texts from O2 about my tariff change and ‘thank you for staying with us/upgrading’. Nothing from CW yet. (SG 64, ordered in store Fri 10:30am, delivery/fulfilment date 03/11)
 
Ordered 64GB SG, Store collection and at 07.55 on Friday. Text and email both received.
