I ordered an iPhone X, 64GB Space Grey SIM Free at 9:16 am after finding that they were offering 3rd November delivery date. I received the vague 3rd email earlier today. I have just used the CPW online chat service. Been told that I can pick up my order in Cardiff store on 3rd November but with the possibility it might only be ready to pick-up om the 4th - been advised to contact store on the 3rd to check if it is available for pick up. Looks somewhat promising

Also received the very vague email at about 6am saying they’ve received my order and it will be on its way as soon as possible. Not sure what to do with this email, no dates or anything... is it just a standard email they send when an order has been placed or? The way it’s worded it looks like an email you should get the second you order something

FWIW, many people received that Friday, but some (seemingly in store collections) have received another variation of it today, and when contacting CPW are being told (inc myself) that items will be picked and dispatched to store tomorrow.

Yeah this was my third email. I received two on Friday and one at 6am today, also in store collection. What’s this about picking and dispatching?
 
My mate asked me to check the order status so he knows whether to look elsewhere and it was surprising.

Ordered on the 27/10 at 7.55am and they have told me it was meant to arrive on 04/11 and now it's the 17/11

Told my mate not to wait for this order and I will cancel it over the weekend if it's not arrived on Saturday as I am not willing to pay interest on £999 for nearly 3 weeks.

My order through Apple will be with me on Friday and I really hope CPW deliver on their promise for everyone here.

I'm taking the Shrodinger's Cat approach - if I don't contact them, then I don't know whether it will arrive on time or late. And by contacting them I may unknowingly delay it.

So I'm holding out to get a notification at some point before close of business Thursday, before contacting them to find out what's going on.

That was my plan but as I am not bothered by that order at all I saw no harm in checking for my mate as he asked and I will get mine on the 3rd anyway from Apple.
 
I just asked about my order on live chat and they told me they wouldn't have a single iPhone in stock until the 10th of November due to a 'worldwide shipping delay'... Hopefully not true, but they don't seem to know much.

I just seen the tweet replies about that, so basically they are saying that every retailer in the world wont receive stock which I find crazy if true, apple must have provided numbers regarding how many iphones the retailers are getting
 
So from what I can tell, its most likely the space grey variants being affected.

Least popular model being the silver 64gb
