starting to think they are just giving the current date for new pre orders and not "your" date
 
Catching up what i is said previously I will try contacting them through Twitter. I didn't realize the s*** storm that was going to create. CPW dm'd me on twitter saying there is an issue regarding my order and I should call the sales team. I promptly called the sales team they put me through to two different people before they could figure out what's up. Turns ou that my order doesn't have a billing address so they have to cancel it and make a new order. I went berserk explaining to them that if the order is cancelled I will be sent to the back of the queue, they really didn't care. CPW explain that they can't add a billing address, so they have to cancel the order. They transferred me back to the sales team who turn around and say don't worry you will receive it on the 10th just like your original order, even though my email said 3rd. Turns out only the small amount of people who paid deposits a month in advance would recieve a November 3rd delivery. Everyone who pre-ordered it on the 27th will recieve it on the 10th November.

Problem is they didn't even care to fix my order problem untill I asked about my delivery.

what a joke. if the device hasn't dispatched yet why can't they just edit the address?

I also ordered through Apple who are saying 13-20. Let's see what happens on the 10th. Got a feeling Apple might deliver earlier hopefully.

My live chat also saying the 10th now. My Apple order same as yours. I will be canceling the CPW order (or returning unopened) and go with the Apple order. I think it’s disgraceful CPW say it’s due on the 3rd (they’ve still not informed me of this!) and then change it to the 10th. They KNOW how many they’ve ordered and when they can expect them in. No, I’ll be sticking with my Apple order.

It's old school trick get as many orders as possible and don't worry because the customers don't have choice. Some of the people cancelled their apple orders. Now they are stuck and have no choice but stick with CPW.
 
Guys if you have requested store delivery check where it’s going, just called up and it’s going to North Acton, supply chain warehouse, they don’t know why. That’s not my local CPW, so changed it to my home address.

Franky its going to be the same at all Carriers, I think by telling people they were going to be delivered on the 3rd they've brought it on themselves but who knows honestly there might be a lot more people getting them than we think.

I did warn you these fraudsters just wanted to take as much money as possible to get interest off. They do refunds within 1-2 weeks lol. Says it all.

I cancelled a Pixel XL 2 order and was told that as it was over £200 they couldn’t refund it back to the card I used to pay for it but instead would have to send a cheque out and it could take up to 4 weeks which is just madness.

Will try to avoid using them in the future.

Looking forward to my iPhone X hopefully on Friday.

I wouldn’t have accepted that and contacted the card company and made a merchant complaint.

That's awful. I really hope they deliver on time and I won't have to go through this with them.

That’s outrageous. No reason at all they can’t refund to a card.
 
Ordered 07.55 on Friday. Still constantly being told 3rd, but not actually expecting this at all. I have 13-20 Apple order, so will no doubt end up cancelling CPW order.
 
I ordered 7.50 am on Friday they are telling me 10th nov not the 3rd seams consistent with what others are being told

That’d basically mean CPW get no iPhones for launch at all? Wouldn’t that be unlikely?

Yeah that's why people are surprised. They always get some stock. Could only be few, could be more, but I expect some orders will be delivered on the 3rd.

Worst thing for me is the entire lack of any tracking. One of my orders I have no email confirmation at all, and no order number - done over the phone. The other order done online I had an email and order number.. but nowhere to actually put that order number to track or get a status update.

I know how you feel about the lack of tracking if there was a basic interface like Apple provide then it’s better than nothing.

I don’t have much faith in them though as my first email of order confirmation said I’d ordered a Nokia 6 for £199 but the total showed £999 had to confirm they hadn’t messed up!

Yep they are backward with there ordering process and cs ,any other company you can enter your order number and get some info but not these mongs anyway hopefully people don’t forget and avoid next time
