A quick note to say the cancellation process was pretty straightforward.

I ordered 8:06 Friday morning but changed my mind at lunchtime, rang them up , the guy confirmed my cancellation on the phone and sent a confirmation email. The money left my account yesterday and arrived back in my account today.

Hope that puts a few peoples mind at rest!
 
I would hope the process would be a simple .... anything else are they are just taking the p*ss
 
Anyone else received another email from CPW this morning? Doesn’t give delivery date but I’m wondering, as I ordered 07.55 (relatively early), if the have received their stock and I’ve been allocated one?

Yes, got a third email this morning saying “Your Carphone Warehouse order is currently being processed and we'll be in touch once it is on its way to your chosen store. We aim to have your product shipped out as soon as possible.”

I'd like to think it might mean we may have actually been allocated stock, but don't know being the first time I've pre-ordered with them. Clutching at straws?
 
I got a third email too. Ordered 64gb silver at 8.25am on 27th. Hopefully this is a good sign.

Nope, no third e-mail yet. As we’re having it delivered, perhaps our third e-mail will be tomorrow

I also contacted their twitter yesterday, and they also said my order is now on the 10th so they're agreeing with live chat now anyway, they blamed it on stock issues from the manufacturer even tho i ordered mine at 8:20AM and got the third as a date

I got the email this morning at 06:25. Mine is for store collection too. Contents of the email do seem vague and non committal .
 
I know I'm new to the party, but also got an email for my space grey 256gb this morning. Store collection
 
I’m guessing the next email us home delivery people will get will be from DPD with a tracking number, hopefully this should arrive today/tomorrow going from what people have said on previous years threads
 
I'm hoping they actually deliver to store on Friday. I said Saturday because I'd be at work on Friday, but since then I'm working from home so could go at lunch to pick it up..



No update yet on my contract preorder with CPW which was done when they rang me in the afternoon. But then I don't even have a first email from them about that one. Will give them a ring tomorrow afternoon probably, see whats going on with that.

This is the line that should concern most. It commits to no date whatsoever.
 
I asked CPW twitter yesterday that since my order was delayed to the 10th will i get an official email regarding the stock issues and they said no as we told you through twitter. I found this a bit unprofessional, I feel that it should be actually emailed if there is any issues rather than the people managing twitter giving me the verdict
 
They cancelled my order yesterday because it didn't have a billing address on it. And reordered it meaning I've been sent at the back of the queue. :mad:
