Yeah, the file sizes would likely be too large to handle ~150 different temperatures :\
How about conditions and precipitation chance?

Do you offer these betas for the Mac OS app? Or are these constant updates/betas only available for IOS?
Just iOS - there's no TestFlight available for Mac, and it's too much of a pain for me to do it manually unfortunately.
Have you looked into HockeyApp for a Mac beta instead?
Hmm, can you email support at meetcarrot dot com so we can troubleshoot this?
No sign of a new beta for the Weather app - has it officially reached a state of perfection?![]()
I would like to ask if you've considered a complication or (even just phone app access) to barometric pressure history for say, last 6 or 8 hours? It's such a big feature on outdoor watches with ABC sensors, I really miss it after switching from a Suunto to the Apple Watch. I know I added the complication to show the current pressure, so I know at least the current info is there.
Hmm, how would pressure history be represented?
Watches with barometers usually have an alternate screen that shows prior 24 hours in a bar chart with extreme high/low number shown at those points. And usually the main screen has a little option (complications, I suppose-HA!) to show you last 6 hours in dash increments. - = level for 3 hours / = increase in last 3 hours \ = decrease in last 3 hours and combines them:
-- steady for six hours
_
\ steady, then recent drop
_/ steady, then recent increase
\
\ Steady drop
Suunto and Garmin are common outdoor watches that have this feature. But for me, it's a pain thing. Migraine and arthritis sufferers can also watch the trends and treat or pre-treat to lessen pressure related effects.
Gotcha! I'll look into something along those lines for a future update.
Wow! Thanks for even considering it.
First, I want to say Carrot Weather is one of my favorite Watch Apps! I like to see the updated weather on my Watch face and your Watch App is by far the best weather app available. My wife and I love the twice daily weather notifications and the warnings of upcoming rain or fog. Plus, you are the only app which allows me to match the gray background color of the rest of my Widgets on the phone notification screen. Even Apples own Workout App does not have a gray color option in the widget!
You really have taken the extra time to understand how a Watch App should work and since WOS3, your use of the Dock has surpassed the rest of my Watch Apps. I only wish other developers would take a hint from MoC and make their apps as pleasant to use on my Watch.
On to my question, I purchased the annual subscription and I want to renew it before my year is up. Should I wait until the very end, or will you give me another 12 months on top of my existing regardless of when I renew?
After buttering you up with praise and money, I would also like to request that you write a sleep app. None of the existing ones do a good enough job and I know you will take it to the next level if you set your mind to it. The most important features for me are the automatic tracking of sleep (I do not want to press a start and stop button) and that it allows me to get up during the night while still counting the two time periods as a single nights sleep.
Any chance rain prediction will be expanded to more countries in the near future. And in my case the Netherlands? Carrot weather works great but I really miss a detailed rain prediction feature especially on my watch.
I am hoping to add sleep tracking functionality to CARROT Alarm in the future - just have to find the time!
I'll admit that I haven't read the entire thread but I did do a couple of term searches and couldn't find this so here goes;
Is there any way to get a complication that would show the rainfall for the past 24 hours. I'm looking to see how much rainfall occurred in the previous 24 hours for a particular location. I.e. Has it rained so much that I'm wasting my time heading to a particular location to do a particular sport.
Sadly no - my weather data source doesn't include that data point in their feed.
