Glad you like it, for me, it is not worth the money, specially premium. Heck, even the premium complications are not showing up on my Apple Watch (And yes, I followed the directions, and I did reset them both). I might play with it a bit more, but this app is not doing it for me.
If resetting doesn’t work, try deleting app and reinstalling. Failing that, unpair and repair usually works for a non-responsive app.

I just unpaired, repaired my AW for another unrelated reason and have noticed that I cannot get any of the Carrot complications to display on the watch. I've also uninstalled Carrot from AW and reinstalled it. Still nothing. I have a premium membership. I swear I had Carrot setup as my weather source before the last update. Any ideas?

So i installed the stable versions from app store and it seems like Carrot Fit does not have the watch complications for Carrot Weather. Is this only available in the testflight version? I'm currently using stable Carrot Weather together with testflight Carrot Fit and that works.

Greetings @MakerOfCARROT! Thanks as always for your hard work on this app and the quick responses you give to feedback here. The regular updates to the app (especially the new data sources) and the fantastic customer service you give make the ultra premium club well worth it!

I received an Apple Watch Series 4 for Christmas and am really enjoying all the customization Carrot offers for the Infographic and Infographic Modular faces. After using it for a few days, I have a few suggestions on improvements to complications I am hoping you might consider for a future update:
  • For the large complication on the Infographic Modular face, the 10 hour forecast is nice. But, I was wondering if you might also add a shorter-term option with more detail (maybe 5 hours like the default Apple weather complication). I feel like you could mimic Apple’s style and fit temperature, condition, and add at least one othe metric like precipitation % or wind speed in that dead space between the condition and the hour. 53128E12-DD6F-454E-A8E3-46F9277347BC.jpeg
  • On the Infographic corner complication, would it be possible to have an option for Temp+Condition in the corner with the high/low bar along the watch face like in the screenshot below? The current all text option is nice, but I personally prefer the more graphical representation of the data.
EDIT: Based on the posts in this thread, it looks like the infographic corner complication has two components: the corner and the part that runs along the watch circle. Each area can have either text or a graphic, but not both at the same time. The complication in the bottom left in the picture below is from MyRadar. The way it gets around this limitation is by using an emoji to represent the current condition. The emoji is still technically unicode text (so the corner area still doesn't break the rule of text only), but the watch interprets it and displays a graphic in its place. Very clever workaround! I'd imagine Carrot would have to do the same thing if it implemented the suggestion I have made in this bullet.

  • If it’s not possible to do a corner complication in the style above, could you offer a variation on the Temp-Condition-Hi/Lo option that would be Condition-Temp-Hi/Lo? What I have in mind would be the picture of the current condition in the corner and then text for the current temperature and high/low running along the curve of the watch face. Based on the default activity complication, this should be possible to do and it would de-clutter the text running along the watch face because you wouldn’t have to type out the current condition since you’d be using a glyph instead. With only the temperature and high/low running along the watch face, you would probably have room for something like “60° * H72° * L51°” where the asterisks represent those dots used as separators on the activity complication.
  • Offering both styles of corner complication would be even cooler :)
Thanks for taking a few moments to read my suggestions! Love the app overall!

This would be great!

Are you still having this issue? Sounds like a bug in watchOS. If the complications aren't showing up in the Watch app on your phone, you should be able to add them directly on the watch using the force touch / customize flow.

A 5-hour forecast chart is coming to the Infograph Modular screen in the next update, as is the emoji condition for the corner slot!

MakerOfCARROT posted this on the Carrot Twitter feed a couple of days ago.

Sucks that so many weather apps are selling location data to third parties, but that's not something I would ever do. It's creepy and gross.

Actually it's somehow resolved itself, within a day or two of my post. All good now. Thanks for the follow up.

Is it possible to get a Temp + Condition circular slot complication for the infograph modular face that looks the same as the Temp + Condition complication for the regular modular face? Basically a larger icon and no colored circle across the top of it?

Yes, it's available in the beta now and will be coming in the next update. Apple didn't provide a template for the Infograph circles that includes a larger image up top and text below like on the older faces, so I had to resort to using an emoji for the condition icon. The emoji weather condition icons won't match the style of icons used in the app itself, but it's better than nothing!

When you wake up at 5 am and carrot shows you the sunset from yesterday, you get sad.
The app from which I could benefit the most, is by far the app with the most refreshing problems.

I am going to purchase Carrot Weather app but I am still confused that do I need to pay extra $3.99/year to use full function of this app's complications. What do I get from Premium subscription. Thank you

The reason the subscription is necessary is because the Apple Watch complication updates automatically in the background every 30 minutes. Unfortunately, my weather data provider charges a small amount for each weather data request - and this quickly adds up when the Apple Watch complication is requesting 48 updates per day. (For comparison’s sake, a user who doesn’t have a complication installed typically uses only 1 or 2 update requests per day.) Without charging extra for the subscription, in just 1 year it would cost me more to supply you the weather data than you paid for the app. So I either had to offer a subscription or not make an Apple Watch app at all!

Thank for your explanations. It makes sense now. And is it possible to add two complications in one Infograph watch face now? Like I want to see current temperature and current humidity in one Infograph watch face.

You can add those two data points in the same complication if you don't want it taking up two different slots. Use the "Temp + Humidity" complication option. Or you can use the "Top Middle" slot for one and the "Circle Slot" for the other.

If those options don't work for you, then here's another workaround: technically, a single app can only have a single complication per slot type. But I found a way where I can take over the complications of one of my other apps, allowing for a second corner or circle slot. I just sent you an invite to the beta of my Weather app, which enables this functionality. You’ll also need to install the beta of my Fit counterpart, which you can sign up for here: https://testflight.apple.com/join/rhsofJcx Then add the CARROT^3 complication to your watch face, which you can customize from the Weather app on your iPhone.

Not only is CARROT⁵ Weather a lovely looking app, it’s accurate, regularly updated with new features/configurations and also entertaining (snark)

But above all, the interaction and eager to assist from the developer as proven in the above posts is worth the yearly fee alone.

I’ve tried almost all the weather apps but somehow I just feel like I’m cheating having any other weather app on my watch face or phones home screen.

I have had this issue for the last couple of weeks where Carrot will tell me it's raining when it's actually snowing and well below freezing outside. I'm on the latest stable App Store release (4.9.0) with The Weather Channel as the source. Is this a known issue?

Is this on the watch or on both the phone and watch? There is a known issue on the watch with this that will be fixed soon.

I'm pretty sure it's on both. I know for sure on the watch but I'm half sure the phone widget did the same but now that you ask I can't say for sure. I'll take a close look next time it happens.
