I'd gladly pay for WU data pulls vs Dark Sky in the Mac App. The ability to make it an all black / dark themed app would be awesome.

Always wondered if it is possible to get pulls from weather.gov?
 
Does the App on the watch and phone no longer do notifications? It’s raining and...no notifications. I paid for the premium version as well.

Send me a support ticket so I can get you added to the beta - tap the green feedback button at the bottom of the iPhone app's settings screen. I have included some new logging functionality that will make it easier to track down the issue.
 
I like the layout of Carrot except for one disqualifying omission. No way to scan precipitation probability in the extended daily forecast. Hello! Weather. Yeah that’s what I use now. :) Get it done meatbags!

That's been in there since the start, except I let you customize which data point(s) are shown on the daily platform. Go to settings, then iPhone customization, then daily, then add whatever you want to show down there to the 2 slots available.
 
i upgraded from premium to ultrapremium but i didn't seem to get any sort of refund or credit against the upgrade :( I was only a month into it, too.

Don't worry, that's just because it takes Apple a few days to process the refund. It's all done separately from the purchase to upgrade to the next tier. (You'd think their systems would be sophisticated enough to realize you already subscribed to another tier, and show you the reduced price for the upgrade... But then again maybe it's better that it's done this way so that it's clear what you'll be paying yearly going forward.)

Ok I see that now. I also see there’s a price to that which is probably why I couldn’t find it before. But I have no probs with developers doing that.
 
Oh great and mighty carrot. Just an FYI: my wife had to reset her phone recently (we both have individual ultra premium memberships). When she reinstalled carrot and tried to restore purchases it said unable to connect to iTunes Store after saying she needed to purchase the app. She’s on my apple iCloud family plan so the App Store wouldn’t let her buy the app because I already did. My guess that is what failed first in carrot when she tried to restore her ultra premium membership.

So I gifted her the app via iTunes and that worked (carrot saw she then paid for the app) and she was able to restore her membership.

This is a weird bug with Family Sharing where in-app purchases made from an account that didn't originally purchase the app can't be restored. Unfortunately there are a *lot* of issues with Family Sharing :\

Agreeded, figured it was a bug on that side. Doesn't bother me at all. The gifting to my family member worked perfectly. Thanks for the reply! Happy Sunday!

I queried the notifications not tying in with those from Dark Sky and @MakerOfCARROT advised:
They’ll never come at the same time as Dark Sky, as they don’t permit access to their notification servers - I just check for rain each time a data update occurs on the Apple Watch, and notify you whenever I find anything.

Do you have Weather.com as the data source or anything other than dark sky? I too am on USSAP membership. :p But I get my data from weather.com (WU).
 
Well, I just got the app, I premium service, I fail to see the commotion about this app, and the premium sure is a waste of money... Needless to say, 2 hours later I canceled the premium, there is nothing in it that justifies yearly membership.

Lol wow. You’re definitely entitled to your opinion. It is mine that after trying several weather apps the customization this one gives makes it worth every penny for me. That and it doesn’t have a bazillion ads every time I open it up. The Apple Watch compilation is the best in its class. The ability to choose the WU station in my apartment complex is cool too. Ignorance is bliss. :)

Glad you like it, for me, it is not worth the money, specially premium. Heck, even the premium complications are not showing up on my Apple Watch (And yes, I followed the directions, and I did reset them both). I might play with it a bit more, but this app is not doing it for me.
