...its weird that the grey case seems to either be shipped with silver buttons or grey buttons - mine definately came with a grey set! And by that I mean, the buttons are the exact same colour as the rest of the case....

Anyway, now I have my black on order (should arrive in about 3 weeks as I didn't opt for the fast delivery option which was $33 just for that and is only 1 week quicker anyway:eek:), hopefully will get a nice set of silver buttons.....:D

eMail them and tell them they sent the wrong buttons. Should be silver. :)

Hey guys I bought a mirrored screen shield today cuz I though it would fit with the sleek style im going for, what do yall think?

ugh...reception issues. for some reason i got my hopes up and thought this case would work. but of course......fail

Yeah, my concern as well. Anytime you wrap a metal antenna in metal, you've got trouble.

None for me also. GPS tracks as fast as before. Signal still same as before. I do have lucky labs wrap on the antenna band, and I can also see that the band doesn't even touch the frame. The pads inside prevents that.

Wow, seriously impressed with customer service. I emailed them asking about the new bright silver buttons (I have the old gray ones) to see if there was any way for me to get just the buttons. I thought I would end up buying them for $5-$10, but to my surprise they are sending me the new buttons first class mail for free! I have figured out that you should always email Case-Mate's customer service. I tried calling about the buttons and all they said was "Sorry, we cannot separate the buttons from the rest of the case."

Mine arrived today and I must say that I love this case. Only issue I have is that I only have one OEM usb charger for my iPhone and none of my other chargers fit this case.

can i ask if my iphone sides is luckylab texture skin instead of the normal vinyl skin will the iphone still be able to fit into the jett casing? ur ans will be much appreciated. Thanks

Please tell me they all don't come with that awful "Case-mate" stenciled on the sides!

Blue is definitely the sexiest, but the thickness and signal drop (I'm in a 1-2 bar area to begin with) make it a no go. The fact that this won't fit in anyone's iPhone dock is also a deal breaker.

Yes it does come like that and it doesn't bother me one bit. I finally found an extra USB cable I had at home that work with the case and that made it a keeper. I also ordered another usb cable via eBay to have when I'm out doing gigs. Took me a while, but I've finally found the case I'm sticking with.

Come on. We all know real DJs use the Candyshell (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9KrAOPk2Qs). Skip to 31 seconds in.

In all seriousness I really love this case except for the fact that the 2 I got both had manufacturing defects that made the case unusuable. You are lucky you got one that is defect free.

I really like that black with the silver buttons. Looks like what the Apple Bumper should have been.

I have 2 Candyshells at home and both are in my case drawer because they have flaked and looks pretty bad. I have a white one and a black one.

I thought I was going to have a problem with the install at 1st, but then I got it and was relieved.

That was my poor attempt at humor. My black candyshell looksl ike it has been through hell because it has. My white one looks pretty good. They both flaked for a couple of days but then stopped so they are still my go to case.

On-topic: It seems that people are either getting perfect Jett cases or completely screwed up ones. Once their quality assurance finally kicks in and they do some QC checks then I may try to get another one.

Oddly, even my reps that I get stuff from has had problems with these cases. She said that 4 of the 10 cases that she got to distribute out had some problems. The ones that were perfect worked great. The ones that weren't though either damaged phones or straight up broke.

Heres my situation and theory:
I purchased a Jett gray last december. It arrived and had the problem with the sleep wake button. It wouldnt press down. Many others had the same problem. I dremelled the power button and everything was fine.
3 weeks Later, i ordered the black Jett thinking it would be fine this time but i was wrong. Same problem with the power button. I am now using the button i dremelled for the black case and everything is good.

My theory (and it may be far fetched) is that the Iphone itself may be different from other iphones. In other words, not made exactly to the millimeter close. Maybe my Jett case could fit perfectly on another Iphone but wont fit on mine. Can this be possible?

Does the seam on the top of your case where your power button and earplug goes into is relatively flushed when looking at it? Both top and bottom are closely flushed and aligned?

Yes, flush and aligned perfectly. I will pass my finger on the seam and feel like there is no seam. The holes for the headphone jack and power button are also ligned perfect. Im thinking my Power button on my Iphone isnt quite perfect thus causing me problems with this case in particular...

Your probably right then. Because the tolerance for all the buttons is spot on with mine. It's as if its been molded directly from my own iPhone.
