The N94 iPhone 4S that everyone keeps talking about its a SPRINT IPHONE 4.

S P R I N T........

The iPhone 5 is on schedule and the N94 iPhone 4 will be introduced to Sprint and Chinese public this year. Along side the iPhone 5.
The 3GS is out the door soon.
Apple has already expressed the difficulty and expense of producing a laminated glass front and back iPhone.

Expect an iPhone 4 sprint/chinese model to have a nice polycarbonate rear or cheaper acrylic backing, not laminated glass.
The iPhone 5 will pretty much look like a tiny iPad.

How do I know.
Don't ask.

I know how you know. You paid them to tell you with all of your gold. Chester Copperpot told me all about you.

You may be right, but Apple seems to know that Average Smartphone user wants his/her phone to be stylish, have a big screen and lots of Power. If Apple doesn't provide that, me as an Apple fan, would surely jump to Android (probably Galaxy Prime). Most of the users would do that. But Apple is not fool, they now want to shell out an iPhone which would again be the King-of-the-hill in smartphones for at least 6-7 months or so. After that, they may put some more juice with same design, same as 3G-3GS. I have my fingers crossed on this one. Hope Apple don't disappoint us.

Average iPhone user isn't gonig to jump ship if one upgrade doesn't meet their expectation. iPhone users buy a lot of apps, I can't see them buying them again.

I hope you're right. ...but did Apple upgrade the processing of the 3GS when they released the iPhone 4? Negative. Past patterns contradict your theory.

I'm 100% behind this idea too. I think is exactly what is going to happen. Product transition will be iPod Touch into iPhone into mini iPad.

That doesn't sound very confident to me.

The only reason they say "could" is because they don't have the actual device. Just the dimensions. So they can't be for sure what the actual screen size will be. BUT based on what they see along with the dimensions, they can make a pretty good assumption.

I'm trying to keep my sanity...
I just can't rationalize Apple's delayed launch of the next iPhone and iOS5 for a simple update (almost exactly like the i4).
But until it's announced we just sit in anticipation. If its got a bigger screen, consider me in line. :D

iOS5 has a lot of changes and with iCloud needed a lot of testing. If anything iOS5 delayed the new iPhone...

Look at the buttons people. It's a Touch not a Phone!

Actually, that worries me a bit as well. That the rumored iPhone 4S is actually the new iPhone 5, and that these leaked designs are for a new iPod touch... Apple said it would be more of a game device so it would make sense.

But, hopefully these designs are indeed for a new redesigned iPhone 5...

Where is the ringer switch?

Where is the space for the silent/ringer switch?

Ah, there it is. on the other side where I can't see it. hmmm.

I brought this up a second ago in the other thread about how Macworld Asia is mentioned..

I think it's going to be very likely that we see the unveiling there.. seeing as media will already be there and let's face it: once the news gets out, it's going to be all over the web and front pages. We don't need a press event here in California for that. Apple's broken plenty of 'cycles' so far, just chalk this up with the rest of them.

Making an announcement at Macworld Asia makes perfect sense. Apple will be gaining market share in China with the new iPhone 5. Why not unveil the phone in the world's most populous country...and soon to be most powerful economy?

The iPod touch has always had the mute switch on the right, so maybe these cases are for the new iPod touch and not the iPhone 5?
The iPod touch has never had a mute button which is why some people say this must be an iPhone.

The iPod touch does have an on/off sleep/wake button on the top of the device. It moved from the left top to the right top with the fourth-generation iPod touch.

It's possible that Apple could add a mute button to the fifth generation iPod touch. They've added buttons before (the original iPod touch had no physical volume buttons and they added the mute button to the iPad 2).

Rumors pointing to redesign iPhone and Bigger screen
1. Leaked Cad drawings of iPhone 5.
2. Case Manufacturers(now including CM), heavily relying on leaked dimensions and mass producing iPhone 5 cases.
3. iPhone 5 icon in Photo Stream app shows 3.7 inch screen with elongated Home Button in iOS 5 beta.
4. Never before Cases have gone wrong in predicting exact dimensions of iDevices.(iPad 2 cases)

Rumors pointing to iPhone 4 design with speed bump
1. Tech Analyst Ming-chi Kuo found no traces of redesigned iPhone 5 in supplies. Only iPhone pointing to N94 Prototype iPhone 4S. A5 processor with 8MP.
2. Same thing by Andy Hargreaves.
3. Ming-Chi Kuo accurately(exactly) predicted iPad 2 dimensions, specs and even the curved aluminium back 2 months before iPad official announcement.

So both Contradicting Rumor reports are in balanced.
So, what am I saying is......My Mind is completely ****ed. Thank you.

The most anticipated product of the year? DEFINITELY! All those rumors and cases and all are giving Apple free publicity. By keeping everything a secret, they are definitely working the crowds! Darn it Apple, I can't wait anymore! Show it to me!
