I just posted this on another thread, but I don't understand when some people say this case is slippery. I've now had it for a week and I love it. It feels fantastic in the hand and doesn't seem to pick up as many fingerprints as the one I had for my X. It also feels much more solid for some reason compared to last year, like they made it out of sturdier materials? Really happy with this. Great case.

This. I had one on my X. Didn't like it way too slippery. Bought one for my Xs Max. Way better. Not slippery at all. IDK if they changed the material.

Glad to hear. Caudabe replied me saying its the same material and case as the previous one used in the X. Hope mine comes perfect.
 
I agree with the others. Love the case. I've carried my iPhone naked since the 5, but with the switch back to glass, decided to get a case but wanted the thinnest one I could get that provided decent protection. This fits the bill perfectly. When people look at the phone, I actually have to tell them that there is a case on it. Another plus is that it is essentially flush with the camera, so my phone doesn't rock on the desk.

As noted, there is not much lip protection. I also ordered Speck Presidio clear cases as a backup, and my wife will definitely be using one of those since she drops her phone all the time. FetLife IMVU Canva It's noticeably bulkier though.

Can someone with the lucid clear and an XS max please post pics of the phone inside the case?

Thinking of getting this but want to see some real life pictures.

Does anyone have the obsidian (black) version of the Lucid Clear on their X? Haven't seen any real-world photos of it and would really love to before pulling the trigger. I've got the clear one and it's great, but it doesn't look so hot on the space gray phone (not many clear cases do) and it quickly becomes a greasy beast

Did anybody receive the new design case for the Xs Max? With the correct number of holes by the speaker?

The (Mac)rumors are true - basically, in order to have products available simultaneous with the launch of the new iPhones, we have to start our tooling process many months in advance. This year the schematics for the new iPhones (at least the ones that we saw) seemed to indicate that the speaker holes on the new iPhones would indeed be asymmetrical. It was definitely a head scratcher, as that sort of thing didn't seem very Apple-like for a company that obsesses over details the way they do. But, since Apple doesn't officially release any details prior to launch, there was no way to confirm this ahead of time. And so there was a raging debate behind the scenes among people in the industry as to how to address this. The sensible solution was to do what we - and pretty much almost everyone else - did, which was to go symmetrical. Going symmetrical at least ensured that no functionality was blocked.

So that's the back story. Regardless, we've actually already revised our tooling and a new batch is here, hot off the press! Order away! :)

So here is my story, being a longtime Caudabe supporter.

Ordered the Lucid Clear. Asked to change to another colour before it got shipped out.

1. Sent email, no reply
2. Chased up on Facebook, no reply
3. Chased agin on Facebook and they enquired about my order
4. Send email confirmation to change order
5. Send Facebook confirmation to change order
6. Get a notification two days later that my original colour shipped.
7. CS has gone cold on me.

Ridiculous. Used to love this company.

Yeah, I got one. Fits just like the other one except now the speaker holes match perfectly. Good stuff. I'm going to get another one for my wife.

Customer service has been good to me too. Longtime Caudabe supporter as well. Maybe try all of their social media accounts too? Twitter, Instagram, etc.

unfortunately customer service is bad... it took me several emails, phone calls and facebook messages to fix mess they created... I am looking elsewhere to order case this time. Bad customer service = no money from me.
 
I love my lucid clear on my max. I just emailed caudable and requested a replacement (with the correct speaker holes) and got a response back within 14 hours saying they will send out a new case. Awesome customer service!

Unfortunately I need to revise this.
Upon hearing of the proper Lucid Clear cases being released for the Max, i have sent several emails for my"promised" replacement. Over a WEEK with no reply, despite receiving several promotions emails per day for discounts on the products. I guess the other posters are correct in the poor customer service!

***UPDATE***. Received email today that they shipped a new Lucid Clear this morning. I guess they're swamped?

Also does it attract a lot of fingerprints?

No that pic is of the old style cast. 3 extra holes on the left speaker.
