iPad 3rd Gen still no sign of it.

Now OTA is live on iPhone and iPad downloading via iTunes as well just in case.

If you are jail broken and trying to do OTA update, you will get this error.

I just checked and its showing on iTunes for me, so I've started the download. Will do on this one 4s and then hit our other phones and iPad later today.

FL here, 600+MB download on my 4S. Apparently 1 hour remaining on the download but it went from 2 hours to 1 hour remaining in about 5 min so I'm thinking that's wrong.

4 minutes remaining/about 40% of the way there and I got the software update failed. My iPhone 4 is not jailbroken so I'll give it another shot and see what happens.

I'm actually in GTA, going wifi via cogeco. Could that be part of the difference?

On a side note, it's taking a long time in "Preparing Update..." phase.

Downloading on a 4 and 4s, both started at 6hours but have dropped to 35mins now. Im in Exeter, Devon, UK

So the OTA download is really compressed and needs to be unpacked first.

Just use the regular update button on iTunes. But I do suggest you restore, not necessary tho.
