iPhone in general are for women and old people. But if you are a man and have to have one it must be the Black 6+. Lol
Why do some people say this? I've only seen this on mac rumors mainly and I don't understand why people think this. IMO the white iPhones aren't feminine, they just look more classy. At my school almost all guys have white iPhones . For me space gray does look more stealthier, silver and gold look more fancier but both guys AND girls use it too. But to be honest between silver and gold I've seen more guys use the silver and more women use gold but thats just an observation.
3G - Black
4 - White
5s - Black/Space Grey
6 - White/Gold
See the pattern here? Also I'm a guy.
More like:Black is unisex.
White is for the ladies.
As for why blokes in western countries get white iPhones? My personal opinion is that younger guys are more open to white because this generation have been raised in a far more feminised world.
Huh? If you remember back to the iPod, almost 15 years ago, that was a white and stainless steel device. I don't recall anyone saying it was feminine.
I personally don't like the white iPhone faceplates because I find the gap between the bezel and LCD distracting. With the black faceplate, the display just blends into the rest of the phone. For this reason I would only buy an iPhone with a black front. I would have no issue with the rest of the iPhone being white. The white 5C is one of my favorite designs.
Fair Point, but the distinction is the fact that there was no other color available. When you compare black to white, it's possible to bring in a male female variable. Not saying my theory is correct, but there's no doubting for better or worse that, in the west, people live in a more feminized world than in previous eras.
I agree on the faceplate as well.
If someone doesn't see that the only critical facet defining sex is a specific chromosome and everything else is cultural interpretation, thus relative, we aren't talking and nothing interesting comes out of you regarding culture.
