I have a white and gold iPhone. Im a man, who likes women not men, if that makes any difference, which it doesn't. I'll gladly discuss how my iPhone is not feminine with any man who cares to step up ;):D

Well then, either you're a rapper or a dealer :)

I just don't think the white phones look as good as the black. The black bezels blend with the display far better, and at night it gives the impression that all you're seeing is screen. That, and the black just gives it a slimmer look and feel. Far more luxurious looking, IMO.

Looking at my white iPhone at night typing this and the bezel has gone.

Reading my iPhone in the daylight the white bezel disappears like paper does.

iPhone looks slim to me. Black and white = stormtrooper look.

That all sounds plausible but ultimately the phones are the same size....and black/slate/dark grey is kinda boring. It has an 80s feel to it. Samsung do a bronze colour Note 4 and I would sooner have that than a black phone.

Everyone can rationalize their decision. I don't know anyone who still holds to the idea that white is for women. Although in my own observations, most men do have the space gray iPhone. But to say the white iPhone is for women or effeminate is a little bit of a stretch. Now that rose gold color rumored for the next iPhone, on the other hand........

I know they're the same size, I said it gives it a slimmer look, the same way black clothing does.

Started with black on the 1st generation iPhone... now I can't break tradition...:)

The only time my wife bought a white phone was the iPhone 5.

But it is not what you buy, right? ;)

In fact for me I think, white represents apple. See apple logo at the entrance of apple retail store? All are white. So, even I have a black iPad mini, I still buy a white iPhone 6 Plus.

I had a white/gold 5s, but went with the space grey 6 Plus. I'm not really a fan of the 6 Plus in white. It looks toyish. And the phone looks bigger (especially thicker) than it looks in black. If I were to get an iPad i'd probably get a white one though. I like to mix it up.

I completely agree, unfortunately I purchased the white 6 Plus. I don't care what people think of the devices I use, frankly if thats how they are going to judge me they can bite me, but I never cared for the look of the 6/6 Plus in white or gold. Frankly the gold is too godly (yes, godly) and white/silver looks toyish IMHO. I only bought the silver 6 Plus because I got my preorder in an hour late thanks to Verizon. I wanted Space Gray. Oh well, that (hopefully) changes this year when I get the next phone and pass mine down. I have been on Space Gray kick since then: my Air 2 and Apple Watch are both Space Gray. I might buy a gold 6s if it has the black front like someone mocked up. That looked slick.

This coming from a guy who owned (and loved the color of) a black iPhone 4, white 5, gold 5s, and 2 white and 3 black iPads. Personally, I liked the gold of the 5s. It was light and more champagne. I know quite a few friends who would agree with me on that one.

I use a white 6 plus, never gave it much thought on why except wanted to use a different color. All my prior phones where black.
