Not at all what I'm saying. Arkansas clearly sucks as do many other teams in the SEC. But, yeah, there are a lot of very good teams in the SEC. As many if not more than most conferences. Especially now that we keep getting new, good, teams to join.
I am saying that Alabama, in my opinion, is still the best team in the nation.
Auburn is very good too though. As is tOSU, FSU etc etc. But I still think if they were to play 'Bama in the title game they would lose.
That said, I'd love to see someone else win the title. And it looks like this year there is a very good chance of that happening.

HA! read the above.
The experts agreed with you going into the Auburn game, most giving it to the Tide 35-21.
And we saw how well the Tide did vs a team everyone thought would have been a walk. Hell, historically the Tide had outscored the Tigers 90-14, and yet, here we are.
tOSU faced a Northwestern that's shockingly creeping into the top 10, a still top 25 Wisconsin. If they beat MSU in the Big 10 championship, they'll have a victory vs a Top 10 team.
FSU has 2 top 10 victories (do we really want to count the win vs Maryland as a big win?). They get the style points for running the board vs teams like Idaho, and sadly, those still count, I mean, that's why Baylor's name kept being bandied around.
Auburn has 2 top 25 wins, one against a mediocre Georgia team, and one against the All-Mighty Alabama (a game, like I said, the experts had winning by at least 2 TDs).
Then we have the mighty Alabama, who, to be honest, played no one of any particular strength, and lost a game due to some seriously sloppy play. Barely beating an unranked Mississippi St doesn't help their cause.
I am amused at how many people called tOSU's schedule a cake walk, but if you look at the top 10, non of them had strong schedules. They all had close calls, and near misses, to be honest, the only reason why tOSU and FSU are the top 2, is because of the big zero in the loss category. I know SEC fans fap to their dominance, and think that they deserve to be #1 and 2 still, the coaches, writers and computer seem to disagree. I mean, look at the numbers, tOSU is almost a full .1 higher than Alabama, and almost splitting the difference between the Seminoles and Tigers.
Fun bit of trivia, several of tOSU's 2014 verbal commitments have been getting unsolicited calls from Nick Saban, personally, to get them to jump to Alabama. Including St Ignatius linebacker Kyle Berger. Think someone's scared that Urban Meyer is finally at a school with the money and recruiting power to let him build the team he wants?
