Given how they struggled against Michigan, your angst is well placed. I'm hoping they'll win, but they need to have a strong outing.

I think the B1G Championship Game, it's really a matter of whether MSU's offense will score enough to win. The defense will obviously slow OSU down a bit, but they're still going to get their points. The offense has been miserable (first month), great, and then had a few moments where it stumbled (last week).

MSU has got to score 21+ to even have a chance to win. Also if they hold onto the ball (#4 in time of possession) that will help limit OSU opportunities.

Mizzo over audurn

I agree but I'm thinking Missouri over Auburn. I have a feeling that Auburn's luck finally decides to go out. I have a feeling some higher power wants to see a SEC team in the BCS title game and make Ohio St. the casualty :)

(If this does happen, I can't wait to see how everyone is going to react with a SEC team in the title game. This is what I like about watching college ball, everyone is so opinionated!)

I think Mizzou is the more well-rounded team, but Auburn just seems to have "it". Hard for me to bet against the sort of magic they've had over and over this year (and not just in the last two games).

I'm hoping that both Florida State and Ohio State win so the SEC is locked out of the title game.

If Auburn wins, their resume will be strong enough to jump OSU in all the computers. If just a few people vote them higher, as well, they'll be #2. That being said, I think OSU loses anyway and the winner of Auburn/Mizzou goes to the BCSCG.

Hate much?

For me, it isn't hate. I have always like Florida State. I was accepted there to finish my undergraduate degree, but chose the University of Central Florida instead. My family is from Ohio, and I have been a long time fan. I remember watching the games back in the 70s with my family and Woody Hayes was the coach.

I think FSU is going to crush Duke, I really think it will be so one sided it will be ridiculous. OSU on the other hand will have its hands full, I'm less confident they can beat MSU. While they have not lots a game this season, they've not always looks so unbeatable, and they've had some struggles.

The odds of this happening (Auburn jumping OSU) are less than 20%.

I personally think MSU has a real shot.

Agreed. I am worried and wouldn't be terribly surprised to see Michigan State beat Ohio State.

Agreed on both counts. OSU is already ahead in computers and Mizzou/MSU are pretty much a wash for the computers, so I don't see OSU losing ground in the computers. Jerry Palm at CBS already mentioned it would take a significant amount of voters for the Coaches and Harris to jump the OSU ship for them to get leap-frogged.

Possible? Sure. Likely? Not now. Still need to see how the games play out. And that's why Mizzou can't really jump OSU. Auburn is 3 in the computers and a longshot, while Mizzou is 5th.

Pretty exciting first quarter without much defense in the SEC Championship game.

Also surprised OkSt lost, setting up a winner takes all showdown between Baylor and Texas on right now.

I think everyone in Ohio just started crying and SEC fans started celebrating.

Congrats to Michigan State.

It was a frustrating game to watch as an alum of tOSU, but the better team won.

It's a mixed bag of pride and sadness in my home town, sadness cus the Buckeyes lost, but proud of local boy Mark Dantonio taking the Spartans to the Rose Bowl.

Auburn's magical ride continues. FSU should be favored but it's going to be hard to count Auburn out after all this.

Where does this leave Ohio State? They're still BCS bound after this, right?

Sounds like a nightmare scenario for the Big Ten to be exposed yet again by the SEC.
I would like to see MSU win in the Rose Bowl, I think that they should have a good shot against a Stanford team that has already choked twice this year.

OSU hasn't really wowed me at any point this year, I'm glad that they have been exposed now instead of heading to what would have been a blowout loss in the NCG against FSU. FSU v Auburn will be a much more interesting match up in my opinion.

Why isn't anyone talking about a FSU-Bama BCSCS game? Alabama was the defacto #1 team in the country for 11 games and 59:59. They would easily be in if it wasn't for one once in a life time play. I usually side on, well this team beat them, so they should be in. But in this case both Auburn and Alabama have 1 loss. If Auburn was undefeated, different story. But to say that Auburn is the better team, I don't know about that...

Not a fan of either team btw, more of an Oregon bandwagoner ;).

MSU v. Stanford is going to be tough for MSU. Stanford's D is gritty and their offense is more reliable than Sparty's. I'm just so happy for a nice win for MSU tonight, especially after letting a great 17-0 start slip away.

Because that situation is impossible under the current system. FSU v. Auburn, lock it in.

I was half right, FSU beat Duke but MSU was too much of Ohio State. Too bad, I was rooting for them.

Auburn looks like they'll give FSU a run for their money, it looks to be a fun game.

wow!

ASU #11. I didn't expect ASU to be that good this season. Stanford is still miles ahead of them though.

AUB vs FSU - Auburn full of tricks. I like their coach, no idea of his name. He is better than their former coach Chiclets(sp?) :p

It has been interesting to see them do so well the 1st season after he got fired. They way they dropped off after Cam Newton left it really made it look like it was all him...

AUB - That onside kick yesterday in the 1st qtr just after they had taken the lead 14-10.. he he he... it didn't pay off other than to keep the MIZZOU defense on the field.

Auburn beat Alabama, there is no way that Alabama should be in the title game over Auburn. It doesn't matter that Auburn won on a fluke play, the end result is that they won.
