While Alabama deserves to be #1, because they've been winning. I have to say LSU looks like a solid #2 and I think they'll beat them. Alabama's secondary looks a bit weak and given LSU's offensive power, I think they'll defeat them

Just my $.02

I agree that LSU is looking good, but it's too early to call, I think. Alabama has five games to play before they face LSU. We'll see if they manage to get their running game in gear and iron out other problems well before Nov. 9. The toughest will be this Saturday against Ole Miss.

He's just trolling you dude.

Everyone knows it's agents that pay Alabama players. ;)

I know he was trying to troll. I was just looking for a good debate. I was in a bad mood, so i figured why not try to start something on a forum. lol

You're right that it's the agents that pay all college football stars but you're leaving out 1 key element : the "middleman" or if you're talking about Auburn the "bagman"..

I'm thankful for the first three "cup-cake" games we had to begin with but LSU will be tested in the next four weeks.

They coasted for a while on Saturday and let Auburn get back into the game. The coach has acknowledged that fact and all I can hope for is that they get better every game.

Geaux Tigers!

Agreed. I think LSU will roll UGA this weekend. Sorry Dawg.

In a related note, pretty cool move by Mark Richt giving his secretary the week off. Although it's possible he was afraid she'd relay some info to her son, Zach Mettenberger, he's probably just being a nice guy and letting here scape the weirdness that has to come with preparing to beat her boy.

Should be an interesting game with lots of story lines (like Mettenberger's return to Athens)

The Dawgs have a history of wetting the bed in these kinds of games, so it wouldn't shock me
But they may have enough offense to stay in the game

Pivotal game for the Dawgs for sure
Win and they have a lot to play for down the road
Lose and they are swimming upstream the rest of the way

suspensions are bad in the ncaa, johnny manziel gets a half suspended oooo hes so scared of doing it again hahah like really?

That is great!

I am not above hypnotizing the mother to glean the game plan.

As a UGA fan, I have a feeling we will lose, and lose badly, this weekend. This past game against North Texas had me to the point of turning the TV off. I was honestly thinking to myself "Georgia is about to lose to a fuccing C-USA team." If that game wasn't in Athens Georgia could have very easily lost that game. We just looked sloppy. Yea the box score looks great for UGA but that also includes a 98 yard TD pass; which blows my mind why UGA just didnt gunsling the entire game. Our WRs are way faster than NT DBs. We could smoke them every single play. If LSUs special teams is comparable to the last few years, its game over. Granted, that punt block was the worst formation Ive ever seen. Why, that close to the end zone, would you leave a huge gap right in the middle of the line. That is just asking for a blocked punt, and it happened. Overall, the NT game shouldnt have been anywhere close to that final score. We really held solid on everything defensively besides those two special team "flukes." Yes, I am calling them flukes because UGA doesnt have a habit of letting those kinds of plays happen. If you take away those 14 points from NT and add a TD for that horrendous throw by Murray that was intercepted in the end zone, it wouldve been a final score of 52-7. That said, none of that matters because it didnt happen. Im just saying if we play against LSU like we did in the first half against NT, LSU will have backups in by mid 3rd quarter. LSU is no NT, we wont be able to just hang on and pull away at the end like we did last week. Another thing, I was shocked to see UGA still in the top 10. I think they were just left there so the marquee game this weekend would be against 2 top 10 teams.

I need some help with my college pick-em this week.. Who do you think will win?

Arizona State
Stanford
Wisconsin
Texas A&M
Alabama
LSU
Oklahoma
Iowa? (who knows?)
UCF (SCarolina seems overrated this year)
Northern Illinois

The Alabama-Ole Miss game is a weird one. I think either Ole Miss will pull the upset or Bama will win easily IMO. Just don't think it'll be a close, back-and-forth game with OM pulling it out.

We'll have to compare our picks after today :p I think ND wins at home because Oklahoma is as miserable as MSU on offense with a less elite defense, plus they're on the road. I would actually enjoy UCF beating USCarolina. I feel the same way about Bama/Ole Miss. They seem like they're truly on the up and up, but are they ready to knock off Bama?

UCF 10-0 at halftime over South Carolina.
WVU up 24-14 on Ok State at halftime.
SMU up 10-7 on TCU at halftime.
Northern Ill up 27-10 on Purdue at halftime.

Well before I make my way towards Bryant Denny Stadium, The only thing i disagree with is Bama maybe winning easily. Lets face the facts, unless something has changed over the last week Bama's secondary sucks. I see this game being like the A&M game, just back and forth.

You'll be happy about this IgnatiusTheKing, I just added this to my sports collection...

ROLL TIDE ROLL

I am a bit worried about my Cardinal. We looked bored against Army and flat out lazy and careless in the 2nd half against ASU, we will be in trouble. Washington St is a tough team and extremely motivated.

and we have the first upset of the day with the Cowboys going down

Congrats to Georgia for beating LSU. Great job by Murray.

Back and forth slugfest
Was really disappointed giving up 3rd and 23 and then the TD
But Murray showed his stones again and found a way to win the game
He had a tall order when Gurley went out with the ankle

The schedule opens up for the Dawgs now and they will be favored the rest of the way
They still have all their goals ahead of them, SEC East, SEC Championship and possible BCS if they win out

The defense needs to improve significantly tho
