Great win for UGA. Nothing else to say. Great performance in clutch time by Murray and great effort by the run D.

Great performance by Bama, too. That should silence the critics about the defense and the running game for a while (also shows how great A&M'S offense is :D).

Ags struggled with Arkansas a little more than I thought they would, but it was good to see the D step up and force some 3-and-outs and turnovers in the second half. Also nice to see us line up and grind it out with the running game, without needing JF's run-around heroics.

You'll be happy about this IgnatiusTheKing, I just added this to my sports collection...

Awesome Evans jersey. A&M never sold anything but #12 before late last year. Pretty cool to see Evans getting some love in addition to #2.

Congrats to the Bulldogs, it was a good game!

Our defense showed it's youth but we were still in the game until the end. That's what we expect with LSU and more times than not, we pull it off.

What I thought was interesting was the penalties that were NOT called during the game. There were multiple face-masks by the Georgia defense and multiple interference calls that could have been made against the LSU defense. It was refreshing just to the see the refs let them play.

Bama needs to have an SEC loss! (The enemy of my enemy is my friend sort of thing)

Geaux Tigers!
Geaux Saints!

I am a bit worried about my Cardinal. We looked bored against Army and flat out lazy and careless in the 2nd half against ASU, we will be in trouble. Washington St is a tough team and extremely motivated.

At the end of the third quarter, I was actually feeling a little sorry for Wazzu.

Seems like 1-2 quarters of playing their "A" game is enough for Stanford to bury some good opponents. I'd have to think they'll rise to the tougher challenges to come, but so far, so good.

I really dont see how he was ever a coach anywhere..I guess good hype from his agent..

I was pleased with Bama's performance last night: defense was great and offense getting better, despite the injury to their center. I still don't understand why Freeze decided to try to convert fourth downs when he could've gotten points on the board early, though. Maybe he got cold feet. :)

That targeting rule needs to be changed. If the ejection is overturned there should be no penalty.

6-3 for me. My two upset calls (Wisconsin, UCF) came up just short, as did LSU thanks to a nails performance by Aaron Murray and UGA's run D. My Bama over Ole Miss in a runaway ended up looking pretty good, too.

7-2, with a close LSU loss and a shocking flop by ND. I'm fairly certain that all those picks were just karma for all the bogus pass interference calls vs. MSU the week before.

Some would say that loss by ND wasn't that shocking (those of us that predicted it, anyway) :D

The game time for Texas A&M at Ole Miss was announced this morning: 7:30 (Central) on ESPN. I'm excited for my first trip to the Grove and really glad it's going to be a night game.

Really disappointed that Northwestern lost to OSU.

I didn't watch much of the game (was mainly watching A's/Tigers and flipping back on commercials), but I couldn't believe that spot and call on 4th and inches. Northwestern looked like they got hosed. Surprised they didn't challenge, but I don't know if the angle was there to overturn it.

So OSU escapes at 5-0 to keep the only hopes of a (distant) B1G national title contender alive. Here's to Northwestern winning out and beating them in the B1G championship game.

Im just thrilled that all of UGAs offensive stars are getting injured. 4 major players injured just today.

That was a surprising game. Didn't get a chance to see much of it, but it almost got away from them. There were a couple of other surprising games that almost could have gone another way until the fourth quarter.

That would be outstanding and I hope they do. Can't stand those boys in red. :D

Have fun on the Grove. It's a beautiful campus. Been there a few times. Just a heads up, the students already have a welcome message ready for A&M

After the first set of games, I'm pretty glad regarding the UGA and Oklahoma losses.

Two pretenders with no real national title hopes are now removed from the race, and really the Big 12 entirely, barring complete and utter chaos.

Personally, I'm never thrilled to see any players injured, I'd rather beat a team at their best or lose trying. I would never wish a player to suffer an injury.

The Dawgs have been living on the edge in every game and with all of the injuries they have had it caught up with them today. Although, the injuries are primarily on the offense, so there is no excuse for our defense being so bad other than poor coaching by Grantham. The talent isn't necessarily great, but it is good enough to compete. Unfortunately our players are consistently unprepared and out of position on defense. So far the Dawgs have been able to outscore opponents like LSU and Tennessee, but with the top 2 running backs and top 3 receivers gone, that isn't possible any more. Even with a healthy offense, the defense was not good enough to contend for a title.

Anyone watch the first half of Oregon/Washington? Probably not much, given the SEC vibe here.

Absolute insanity to begin with - Oregon's first score had 3 plays in a row (correctly) reviewed. Washington is still hanging tough, but they can't keep giving Oregon extra chances with turnovers to have a hope at winning.

Interesting weekend of college football. Watched the Ole Miss/Texas A&M game after Bama. Tough to see OM lose the game like that after coming back.
