Bachelor of Commerce, then hopefully into Business/Corporate Law.

That is where I was originally going to head into (Corporate Law). But the more I think about it, I going to head into business. Banking in particular, since I have a potentially nice job opening waiting for me after graduation.

Oo, can you help me open a checking account at Wells Fargo?

Ha! Bank Jockey. :p

I keed, I keed, we all need bank tellers. Without them (4 years from now, I'll probably be saying "us") you'd have NO MONEY! AAAHAHAH!

Ssshhh, ATMs are the automatic teller machines.. OF THE DEVIL!

Actually I am a bank teller right now (actual title is "member service representative"). The job opening was likely more in the area of upper management (i.e.- vice president).

Bank Jockey, I am going to have to remember that term. :)

Finance with a minor in Philosophy.

I'm going to finish in 2 months and am currently looking for a job. The thing that sucks is that I'm set to graduate magna cum laude with management experience and it's pretty hard to find a job (believe it or not). I'm in this weird catagory where I'm either over-qualified or under-qualified for basically everything.

I've only looked into analysis/management though. Next comes the broker/banker bit.

Job hunting tip: Everyone I know with an offer knows someone who already works there. Businesses actually higher grads with terrible grades and no experience over very qualified applicants based solely on the good ol' boy network.

What the hell do you do with a major in Medieval European History?
I'm not sure either, I've just really gotten into that time period. I actually want to become a physics professor so that's why I decided to drop it and just maybe take a few history classes here and there.

I'm an Electrical Engineer! YAY! I'm also thinking of minoring in business.

Mechanical engineering at the University of Vermont. I did the opposite of a lot of engineering student and transfered into the engineering school. I would sat at least half, if not more of the incoming students are gone by the second year, usually once they hit thermo-dynamics. I was studying physics for a year and a half, but it was too much theory and equations, I like hands on stuff. Because I transfered, this is my fifth year, but that doesn't bother me.

I'm in 3rd year Electrical Engineering. I took thermodynamics as a technical elective and came out with an A+. :D

How do you get an A+? At my college the max grade is an A. The max grade at my HS was an A. Do A+ even exists?

I'm pretty sure thermodynamics is the spawn of Satan. :(

I didn't find it all that bad really, actually one of my easier/better graded courses.
That said, Mechanical Engineering - Bioengineering Specialty, already looking/planning/applied to grad school for my MBA, and then post-MBA I'm looking at going back for something else. I found this part year that I really do enjoy learning and gaining more knowledge. Problem is, I have to find something to pay the bills as well, so within that mix I have to maintain a job :(
I already have some stuff setup for the MBA to get the gov to pay for it, which is nice....so assuming that works out I'm well on the way :D

The same crap as high-schools awarding > 4.0, simply ridiculous in my mind. The point system was setup on 4.0, and me getting one from HS would have been awesome, but them some punk-a** twit from another HS gets a 4.2 for some ungodly reason and to all the colleges that looks better, but in fact he is even more retarded than I because his school's curriculum sucks.

I know that some HS's base things out of a 5.0, but I though that was because of Honors and AP credits, not A+'s. I do know that almost every college recalculates your GPA based on a scale that they set, not on the GPA that your HS sets. It makes things even that way.

Make sure that you have it wrapped. Other than that, I'll take it and give you bills.
