Now that they’re not using premium materials like leather the profit margin for these has to be off the chart. The only people that are going to buy these are hard-core Apple fans or people that are picking up an iPhone at the Apple store and just want a case with it.
I prefer vegan grass fed leather 😂
Maybe Apple is going to surprise us, and these are actually cases for a new iPod Nano without the click wheel?

I put my trust into FineWoven for the short existence of it and it was absolute arse. Not buying an Apple case next time lol

Quite by chance I recently bought a "MUJJO" brand leather case for my old iPhone 14 in TJ Maxx. Around $20 and indistinguishable from the old Apple leather cases (of which I've owned many)
A couple of months later the leather is wearing just like an Apple leather case. Worth a look.
i think you are right.
the cases that are pictured here are likely early knockoffs.
probably using leaked information about the suppler of the material.
it was established in earlier posts that the packaging (box) was almost certainly a knockoff (copy).
given the colour subtlety in the shades pictured, its likely the colours are directionally close.
i don't know if the strands are

I wash my phone and case every couple days, though I realize most people don’t which is why I try not to touch anyone else’s phone, or let them touch mine, ha
I love the look of beat up old library books! But idk if it’s a good thing for it to be porous when it doesn’t spend any time on a shelf so the bacteria and viruses have a chance to die off
& yeah $50 for a case is crazy when it isn’t leather, I just get the cheap TPU ones which feel great, add grip, are easy to clean, and cost next to nothing to replace when they start looking rough

That don’t look good, and the supposed apple logo’s new alignment is also not present. Not very convincing so close to launch.
The grey one also has visible damage in the side view already. The other ones might have it as well, just more small.
I have an Apple leather case on my phone. It was a gift. I love it, it is beautiful! BUT, I do understand why Apple moved away from selling them. The dye process is quite environmentally harmful. As much as I appreciate the premium feel and quality of leather, I can't justify buying one myself.
