Comex To Release Spirit Like Tool To Jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS (New/Old Bootrom)

Install Winterboard, BossPaper, and SBSettings and start tweaking the hell out of everything I can get my grubby little mitts on.

i usually don't comment on people like this, but what is with all your pointless comments. you go into all these new (pointless) threads and make a pointless comment about how dumb the thread is, but then you go into threads that actually carry some meaning and leave dumb comments. kind of hypocritical. This is about the 4 post of yours today, in a good thread, that has added nothing to the converstation. Please keep your comments within the rules and guildlines of this forum.
The first thing I will do after a JB is install mywi, rock or no rock. I wish that the iphone 4 had wifi hotspot feature like the evo does, i would pay extra for this in a heartbeat.
i agree, it seems the more cydia stuff you add, the laggyer (is that even a word) it gets. I don't even like to use WB due to the mass amount of RAM it uses, although with the iphone 4 it may not matter

If you've read the thread...Comex hasn't officially made any announcements on his jailbreak...however....the speculation is that he has one and is more than likely waiting for Apple to release an update to OS4 before he releases a JB.
MuscleNerd hasn't Twittered any progress of an unlock in nearly 2 days. But has reported progress...it will happen.
IMO...we'll have a JB two hours after Apple issues their OS4 update....and an unlock shortly after that...

I think the first thing I would do after JB the iPhone 4 is to install MyWi... I haven't tried this before but I heard that it suppose to create a Wifi hotspot hence my laptop and ipad can use the 3G internet from my iPhone. Is that how it works? Or even after JB, there's no guarantee that MyWi would work with iPhone 4?

I read somewhere here that it had been updated to work with iOS4 - not sure how they would know that though.
I would assume with enough time then people are going to start figuring everything out. We just have to remember what it was like when 3.0 and 2.0 came out and were initially JB'd - as the dev team gets faster and faster we get less and less patient... I know I do.
Ya I stopped using winterboard, it ruins the phone and its not even that cool. I jailbreak my iphone for increasing productivity and winterboard does the opposite.
The whole thing about comex waiting for Apple is just a speculation, like how everyone keeps predicitng so far that the update is going to come every Monday of the month even though apple said "the next few weeks."
What's even stupider is the fact that now these sites claim that Apple is the one waiting for the Dev Team. Which all stemmed from a so-called Apple employee who said nothing more of:

And apparently, they think he was credible enough for a whole news story. The same site that claimed that the jailbreak was ready even though comex didn't even say it was (kind of like the sites who claimed the Apple public announcement and update coming some mondays ago that never happened).
they have trouble with the word "already" and "handled" - Already handled could mean that he is in charge of handling it or that he's working on it or that he's finished with it or that he's assigned to it. It's nebulous on purpose.

I have an idea...it will come when Comex says its ready. I have heard this dude is a wizard and we will all have to have some patience.....nobody but Comex and the Dev team know what they are waiting for.....in due time people in due time
The very first thing I will do is to JB and unlock if it becomes available. I wish it had the functionality like my nexus one as far as multi tasking where I can pull down th notifcation bar anytime there's a new message, update and etc.

What model iPhone did you use it on? I used it on a 3GS and there was no slowdown, no lag whatsoever.
