Yeah, you'd think that Marble Madness would have been perfect fodder for the accelerometer, rather than the (by comparison) simplistic 'Labyrinth'. I'm surprised not to see an MM conversion not released so far.

YESSS!!!! I used to play MM on a friend's Amiga when I was a kid... it was my #1 favorite game, by a huge margin.
And, being a video editor by trade, the Video Toaster's capabilities on my phone would be ridiculously awesome (and nonsensical and impossible, but still). Falling sheep effects, anyone?

four little words: Sensible World of Soccer!!!! - the best football game ever! - fingers crossed this makes it to the iPhone/iPad

The Amiga was great and a lot of the features, many of which were dismissed by Apple at the time, are common and taken granted today. Pre-emptive multitasking, voice synthesis, application scripting, not to mention color, stereo, and desktop video editing were all pioneered on Amiga's and absent on Mac's or PC's.
And of course games! Amiga's, with their custom chip sets, were able to serve up great games that ran fluidly. Psygnosis had some awesome titles such as Shadow of the Beast.
I'd love to see Populous and Lemmings on an iPad, two games that heavily influenced many of the games today.

i just hope they will support joysticks or the accelerometer to control the games somehow.
i have a competition pro usb joustick i once bought to play rick dangerous on my mac, would love to use it with an ipad through the usb foto connector.

Games were good but I remember the Amiga for it's creative software like Deluxe Paint, Instant Music, Scala, Deluxe Video, AmigaVision. Also AREXX scripting and Amiga Basic for the programming side.
