Can we please avoid useless wish lists of everybody’s own favorite Amiga games that nobody else cares about?

No :) Here’s mine:

TurboRaketti II
Mindwalker
Lemmings (with Amiga-exclusive 2-player head-to-head) [yeah, right!]
Sinbad and the Throne of the Falcon
Starglider II
Blastaball
Obliterator (probably performs better on iPhone than it ever did on Amiga)
Microbe
Shadow of the Beast II (adding save points to some of these games would be great)

But as long as I get Stunt Car Racer I’m pretty happy!

But will there be an emulator for the Video Toaster?
And give me Marble Madness and Clown-o-mania.

YESSS!!!! I used to play MM on a friend's Amiga when I was a kid... it was my #1 favorite game, by a huge margin.

And, being a video editor by trade, the Video Toaster's capabilities on my phone would be ridiculously awesome (and nonsensical and impossible, but still). Falling sheep effects, anyone?

THE game to have on the Amiga

four little words: Sensible World of Soccer!!!! - the best football game ever! - fingers crossed this makes it to the iPhone/iPad :)

Oh man, I will be buying this! Bring back Wings! And the Three Stooges!

And SWIV 1 and 2, does anyone remember those games? Best helicopter and jeep shoot em up ever!

 Useless though without a competition pro joystick.

Shadow of the Beast -- YEEESSSS

Awesome news!!! We need NY Warriors and that was one of the best top shooters ever. Plus their version of Turrican was good. We also need the TV Sports Football and Basketball. REEJECTED!!!!!! Michael Jordache was the best!!!!

The Amiga was great and a lot of the features, many of which were dismissed by Apple at the time, are common and taken granted today. Pre-emptive multitasking, voice synthesis, application scripting, not to mention color, stereo, and desktop video editing were all pioneered on Amiga's and absent on Mac's or PC's.

And of course games! Amiga's, with their custom chip sets, were able to serve up great games that ran fluidly. Psygnosis had some awesome titles such as Shadow of the Beast.

I'd love to see Populous and Lemmings on an iPad, two games that heavily influenced many of the games today.

Still have my A3000 (and Lemmings and Oh No More Lemmings floppies) sitting in the garage...

Very exciting - so as long as we're doing wishlists this Xmas:

Mindwalker for original freakiness.

Deluxe Paint & Photon Paint (remember the king tut image?)

Some audio apps, I can't remember the titles.

Marble Madness (sweet!)

Artic Fox

and...

Faery Tale!!!

I want a NES Emulator. Now.
If my Nokia 5310 can have it, my iPod Touch should have no problems with it.

i just hope they will support joysticks or the accelerometer to control the games somehow.

i have a competition pro usb joustick i once bought to play rick dangerous on my mac, would love to use it with an ipad through the usb foto connector.

or how about the magic mouse? that would be cool! :)

Games were good but I remember the Amiga for it's creative software like Deluxe Paint, Instant Music, Scala, Deluxe Video, AmigaVision. Also AREXX scripting and Amiga Basic for the programming side.

New York Warriors and Archon were really good Amiga games.

No physical joystick means that this like all the other old school emulated systems end up being a useless and pretty tech demo on the iPhone.
