I have zero issues like this. Everything stays in memory even for days.I refuse to believe that this is intentional. It HAS to be a bug, otherwise this is a HUGE step backwards.

If that was the case I wouldn't use an iOS device. While I don't keep every app open on my phone at once, it's nice to have 4-6 frequently used apps open, especially if I'm multitasking and frequently switching between them.Wow, hyperbole much? THis is the reason why iOS > android because it only needs little ram to work right. Imagine what a waste it would be if iOS had 8GB or even 12GB RAM! Apps would close even faster because why would you want to use more than one app at a time on an iPhone device? Apple made the right decision to limit RAM on the devices. If I could argue I would tell apple to only supply 2GB ram because that would make the device work incredibly efficiently. Only one app at a time and that’s all you need!
Nope. This is bug for some people. One plus is ****.It's not a bug. It's intentional. Apple has gone to S**t and they don't care about UI/UE anymore. I was excited to get an iMac last year after years or running snow leopard on my 2009 Macbook Pro. the new software and hardware both suck. My mouse and keyboard keep disconnecting from bluetooth, an iMac with upgraded RAM and SSD that's less than 1 year old takes forever to boot up. It's ridiculous. Apple is a money grab company now. I'm glad Huawei is leading in China. I already dumped my iPhone from a OnePlus 7 Pro and it runs better than any iPhone i've had.
Definitly a bug. I though it's a bug with my old iPhone 7 - looks like just an ios issue.
Example:
1. watching netflix
2. received sms. open
3. going back to netflix - it's closed...
Tim Cook is doing a fine job as CEO. IN fact i think he is much better than Steve Jobs because he is pricing everything correctly. Not to forget he is the pioneer of smart watches and there is nothing better than apple products on the market.
All the negative feedback is just from apple hating shorters who want a piece of the money. I think this entire multitasking ”issue” is overblown - you guys don’t know how to manage memory and apple knows best because they have smart engineers that close apps that take up too much memory! Thank goodness I only use one app at a time because that would be dumb as heck to use two Simultaneously eating up all my precious memory for nothing.
Those that are having these issues - you guys need to reboot your devices. I’ve never had any problems whatsoever a bunch of slander if you asked me. Multitasking is far better on iOS than any other mobile os. In fact why would you care to use two apps at the same time on a phone? Ludicrous! Just let the ios manage your apps it does this for a reason and obviously these people have no clue why. Stick with android if you want faulty multitasking.
Glad I'm still on 12.4 and will be for a while!
I'm only seeing this when I use the camera app on iPhone 11 Pro Max.
I’ve been an Apple fan since iPhone 3gs & in my opinion ios13 is the worst release ever. So many bugs, so many issues. This would not have happen in the days of Steve Jobbs.

And I do have this issue on my XS. Safari is the worst offender, but other apps are affected too.
It just works = buggy difficult to useOr perhaps Apple will brick more devices and then the problem becomes moot because there is nothing to manage.... Need to find someone who mimics Jobs's idea of management and put these devs in a place where they either say your timelines are too aggressive and push back on Tim or stop releasing garbage that isn't ready yet. It's tarnishing the brand and trust going out the window in droves.
Luckily it’s still a option for you. I got an 11 pro after no new phone since the 6s+ (awesome device) and 13 has been an absolute turd. I didn’t like the app changes in 12 after being happy with 10, but with the user aggressive refinements turned up to 13, I’m super pissed. The whole system continually fights me and it’s taken minutes just to post thisLol at this rate I’m never leaving iOS 12
Oh man I just lost half of day of logo design when my adobe sketch closed upon resuming from another app
