This morning I checked the links and for a 32GB Black wifi it showed available at 4 Targets within 10 miles of me. If I didn't have $300 worth of gift cards for BB (plus my deposit) I probably would have left work and went to the closest one. I checked a few hours later and the status had gone back to unavailable. I'd trust Targets online inventory more than I would BB's.

Yup Target's inventory check is accurate, managed to get a 64gb at&t 3g from one of their outlets in LA, after a few days of fruitless search...
In fact got it after checking out the Apple outlets in Newport Beach and Costa Mesa, both of which had queues early in the morning and were sold out...

Much thanks to the OP. Yesterday link showed no inventory at my local Target. Late last night and this morning showed 64g 3G At&t.. available.
Stopped by store this morning, clerk said none in stock since launch day. I gave her the inventory number and ask if she would pleases humor me. She was shocked to see they were in stock. Thanks to everyone for all your posts !!

I have been waiting for my pre-ordered iPad from Best Buy for a while now. I was sick of waiting so I did a quick search on google. I found out a Sam's Club in my area had 30 in stock. I just got 2 64gb black wifi models. The guy in front of me bought 10. Check out your local Sam's Club. They told me over the phone how many they had in stock and which models. Refreshing change from "we will not know until we get our shipment" from Best Buy and Apple. You need to act fast though, they refresh their inventory info every 20 minutes.

Only 10 stores were selected to sell the iPads at launch. You can see the list by going to the site and in the search bar type in iPad. Maybe they will, or have expanded it depending on where the OP bought his.
not sure but i just went through and checked all the wifi models in my area (Fort Myers FL) and the inventory results have changed since yesterday.
Maybe someone at Apple corporate has a thing against JAX.
Atlanta has three Apple stores and there have definitely been ipad2's sold through other outlets (Target and Microcenter).
Just wanted to say thanks! This thread helped me get my IPad 2 this morning. I woke up and checked my local Target's inventory and it said that the 32gb Black Wifi was "available" so I went over there before they opened and sure enough they had 2 of them. I grabbed one and the other one is sitting there.
For anyone who just MIGHT live where I do this was in Jefferson City, MO. There is only one left and I grabbed this one at 5 after 8, so we will see when the inventory system updates.

If the inventory is accurate then the two employees I dealt with at the Oviedo Target are truly BS Artists. Availability changed from out of stock to available on the IPAD 2 Black 32 Gig model overnight. When I got there at opening both the clerk and a manager claimed they didn't have them. Checked the bar code reader on the end cap and they showed in stockroom. Both employees claimed they still were not there. An hour later they still show in stock.
16gig wifi black changed to "in store only" this morning at my local best buy. I just called them to ask if this was correct. The lady was quick to say it was not correct. Do I believe them or just go check in person? The drive is kinda far for it to be a bust...
Walmart's "in stock" status does not seem to be accurate. I checked two in my area that supposedly has some in stock, but did not.

At the WalMarts that I checked with, they both said the last week of April is when they will have some in stock even if the Check Availability says "In Stock." I am located in California. Not sure if I should believe it or not even though those were the words of the the managers of both stores.
