You bought our car. The a/c only works part of the time. Buy a fan. Problem solved.

I don't want a case.
IMO cases belong in the 1990s.
I'm not convinced that a bumper (or other case) really solves the problem. I've seen too many mixed reports, and the only person I know with a case hasn't seen an improvement (although they wanted a case for protection).
Maybe it's a European thing, but when I buy an expensive product (or any product for that matter), I expect it to work without having to buy a clunky extra.
Eh? Phones that can't make phone calls are defected, so people want to sort it out.
I bought a $5 case on ebay, didn't help. $30 speck case, completely solved the problem. So buy a Speck case.
Yes, it is a bit of an inconvenience to buy something you weren't expecting to, however, you can't so easily fix the problems in the alternatives.
Its a trivial issue because you can solve the problem forever with the right case. Speck 3D, that is what did it for me.
Also, Apple'/AT&T will give us a voucher soon.
There's a difference between profiteering and investing.
People will always take advantage of the market. And then they will sell it off when they feel they are maxing out their profits. So buying behavior in wake of a disaster is not at all surprising. It's still very risky and depends on how quickly people believe that "bounceback" will be. It could be 6 months. It could be years.

I said in light of the flaws found in the alternatives. Put a case on your phone problem solved. I did.
YOu can't solve Droid problems so easily. You make my point for me, thanks.
I'm perfectly relaxed. Sincerely. I'm enjoying watching what will be a PR Case Study for students to learn from for years to come.
Consumers are only one aspect of the equation. Stockholders - a whole other. The press can and no doubt is wreaking a bit of havoc on people's decisions whether to buy, sell or hold.
Apple will survive - that's not a question in my mind. But bad press is bad press is bad press. Their IMAGE is being tainted. What the long term effects will be - only time will tell. And only time.
YOU CANNOT be for real! ........YOU FANBOYS do not realize that you are doing as much damage to the product as the actual product is doing to itself. Everyone having a problem does not hate Apple, THEY ARE JUST HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THEIR PRODUCT!
Defected huh? Lmao
It's totally mob mentality and the stupid media.
No one holds there phone in a death grip to use it. I have a iPhone 3GS that has never had an issue, when i heard about the "death grip" i tried it and the same thing happens on that phone.
In the real world 99% of the time this is a non issue. People just have this stupid placebo effect now that they KNOW you can kill the signal if you hold it a certain way and will blame that on every dropped call or other issue which is usually the fault of AT&T's horrid network.
Oh well.
Because you are egocentric. I'll explain it to you.
YOU solved YOUR issue with a case because that's what YOU wanted. And it works for YOU.
Other people might not want to use a case or might want the device they bought to actually function as it's supposed to without a jury-rig.
I saw this analogy - it might make sense to you.
I buy a car.
The car works fine - but darn it - the gas take has a whole and leaks gas. I can drive - but my mileage is really bad
The manufacturer says "no problem - use duct tape"
Yes - the duct tape will "solve" the results of the issue - but it doesn't solve the PROBLEM itself. The problem is that there is a hole in the gas tank. No one is arguing that there might be a fix/band aid. What people want is a gas tank without a hole.
You didn't say "in light of the flaws found the alternatives, you said their "shortcomings". Those are two different things. What problems or "flaws" does the Droid have? And how did I make your point? Your delusional thinking that the iPhone 4 reception flaw has no "weight".
What really sucks is the fact that everyone assumes because the media says "iPhone can't make calls, faulty antenna" everyone that has one, has the problem.
I won't deny the fact that a problem exists, but it isn't every phone... Mine works fine no matter how I hold it. So because "x" amount out of 1.7 million + phones has an issue, people start demanding some sort of justice... It's just human nature.
Please don't use duct tape to fix a gas line leak.......![]()
Blame the iPhone's autocorrect, not me. Typing in Safari with iOS 4 also isn't a good experience.

The phrase I am seeing most is.. Welcome to Microsoft. This is not good.
