You know what happened to PanAm, the airline was a crime in a manner of speaking… (closed ended comment). 🤔Not every day you get to chat up a defunct airline.
More Heavy SpoilersI should go back and play this game. When Sony offered the refund because of bugs I took it.
The game ending all sucked, which doesn't help, but I heard they added some good DLC.
The problem is the cure is a mixed blessing from a story, relationship standpoint. If this was my real life I might take it, however in real life, you’d have a better shot at keeping important relationships in your life. As presented, I’ll take the Nomads and what time I (my character) has left.Nomads was my fav yep. I’ll take the unknown to oblivion.
i may have mentioned this but in several fights now, I’m discovering cops in the fight shooting at me, and I have no idea what triggered this. I‘ve discovered that if you accidentily kill a pedestrian with your vehicle, and the cops chase you, they have magic vehicles, can keep up with and kill you. On the minimap, it looks like a red dot on your trail. It might be better to stop, get out and go vertical. 🤔I think that’s from 2.0, I’ve had to fight more after the update.
In real life, you might choose life, and you might have more control over who you still have in your life, but the cure ending as constructed strikes me as grim. It’s not that I expects some perfect warm and fuzzy ending, it’s mostly that all but a couple, and arguable 1... are just beak beyond measure if you think about what it really means.....
This is one of my philosophical arguments that goes back to Star Trek. If there is a computer that could capture every characteristic of your brain including your memories, if they could be transferred to a bionic or a biological organism, would this be you or a computer that thinks it’s you? I vote for the latter, even as other people who knew you, might think it’s you and for all intents and purposes externally it would be received as you.🙂 Actually this an argument for something that makes you, you, that exists beyond flesh and blood. There is no part of me that believe that having my brain patterns recreated or taken over by a computer means that I am still alive.............
Stunning shots. Yesterday I walked around in Dog Town. Seriously, we'll unlikely see many games like CP2077 in a while. The attention to detail and commitment to visual art is near unmatched. Almost every single area and corner of the Dog Town is unique.

I'm deep into my current playthrough and definitely had Jackie's Ofrenda ... from what I understandOk, 4th time though, apparently they dropped Jackie Welles’s funeral. I assume 2.0 change.
I’m so disappointed. I’ve always attended that event. I think this time I told my Ripper Doc buddy to take care of it instead of his family? 🙁 This game in my experience is a first with these kinds of social interactions, and for those who have not played, there are a string of them that make the game feel more real, life like than any other I’ve played.I'm deep into my current playthrough and definitely had Jackie's Ofrenda ... from what I understandI have always made the choicewhether or not it happens depends entire on how you choose to have Delemain deal with Jackie's corpse.to send it to his mother.
Totally agree - the extent to which you can impact how the event plays out really draws me into it every time!I’m so disappointed. I’ve always attended that event. There is no filler content like expansive open spaces or repeated assets. This includes areas that you are unlikely to explore during missions. It's truly a game a beauty and it doesn't look 4 years old. It's a bummer that the multiplayer mode was cancelled. However, given how demanding the game it, I don't think many PC gamers would ahve had head room for multiplayer.
Yeah. Dog Town doesn't 100% fit with the main story but it's fine. For me the DLC is another opportunity to play the game. The Red Graphics Engine, looks like it’s a cut above…
The Main quest was designed as a solo act, the companion quests are also solo adventures. You’re diving into brain dances searching for clues, going on dates, attending a crusifiction, that sort of thing. You alone are dealing with a chip in your head. I don’t know how you’d blend multiplayer into this, without just have a game built on gigs, small jobs for fixers, but as is they are just the right size for one person. And multiplayer would deminish the solo narrative as to destroy it imo. Imo, this must be a solo adventure. They’d need to create an entirely new settimg with a different game structure to allow for multiplayer.
Yeah, Night City is the most amazing city ever created from scratch. It’s monumental. And the games social structure is amazing. Speaking of Dog Town, this quest comes up fairly early in the game, and for this play through I’ve decided before I meet up with Takemura and the parade, I’m gonna go do the DLC and help the President out, then go back to the vanilla ending.
One of the issues a new player might perceive is this push to hurry, I need you for this, or you need to do that right away. In fact, you can take your time and do things in the order that you want to do them, and as far as I can tell the quests wait for you. So if you’re supposed to meet Judy at sundown it might be today or tomorrow or a couple of days, and it doesn’t really seem to matter, which I’m grateful for because otherwise if the quests were perishable, you’d be forced to choosing one over the other, and I want to experience it all.![]()
I could see Night City loading as a separate PVP battle arena.Yeah. Dog Town doesn't 100% fit with the main story but it's fine. For me the DLC is another opportunity to play the game.
Given the wide variety of weapons and abilities, online multiplayer would have been wild. Like awesome battles in Phantom liberty but dialed diale dup to 10. I would have loved to use Sandevista against 5 other online players.
I hope that many of the mechanics in CP2077 carry over. Although I don't love UE5 at least it's designed for multiplayer from the ground up which should make development alot easier.
