^. Just was discussing this, here’s my take on the 1.05 patch with improvements on my new Xbox, and I’m not seeing any major issues, aside from a few mono-static images that glitch, but that’s minor at best.

1.) Definite improvements to reduce lag and delays with driving aspects.2.) Images are sharper, shadow reflections look much cleaner, less warmth with aberration, and film- grade mode off, black point objects are more true to color.

3.) HDR definitely appears more of a warm tone, but still not as dark as it once was. [I just increase the vibrance on my 4K Samsung, which basically canceled itself out, when I just upped the sharpness and trimmed the contrast down a bit. (It doesn’t look as pixelated with the brightness reduced.)

4.) NPC‘s have way more definition, vehicle modeling fix the jagged textures, with less contrast and remove the styro-glitching I previously mentioned.

5.) Also, some of the lip-synching was off with the cut scenes, which also seems to be fixed, aside from the framework, but the audio cues were never an issue to begin with, just character modeling not syncing properly.

I'm already back to having 90k back in my wallet. Those side quests and hacking rack up the money. Plus jumping up high onto roofs, ledges, or windows makes me do some of the quests much more quickly now.
I know I would have been better off depleting my eddys for the epic fortified ankles when I 80k... but I just like the feeling of having eddys saved up. I think I'm ready for my epic fortfied ankles now... :D

I always end up buying loads of new stuff and never seem to rack up a lot of cash. Not into the cars, but I am going to buy me a Caliburn when I stack up 165K somewhere endgame.

I kind of see the cars as a meaningless value in the game, you can still jack them for the most part, with the exception of a few rides that are exclusive to certain characters that are only available at certain times. But it’s a lot like GTA, where are you can buy/customize your cars and spend a ridiculous amount of cash, but then again, you could find the exact car and put it in your garage for free.

I think the idea is, CDPR tries to get you to spend your money, so every player has a ‘different-unique experience’, you know what I mean.

BTW:

You need to be more involved in this thread. You basically disappeared since CP launched two weeks ago and I always appreciate your viewpoints. Don’t make me do a ‘deep dive’ and come find you in the digital world.😁

Haha, yeah, most free time is spent in Night City. I'm loving this game so much and must say that I didn't have any more crashes on the PS5 since the 1.05 patch. And yes, there are so weird glitches and bugs, but they don't keep me from enjoying the game.

I'm not really happy with my build. I really was looking forward to the mantis blades so I started spending points in them even before getting them. The second I hit street cred lvl20 I went out and bought them. They were fun but not really that useful overall. Then I discovered me those smart weapons and boy how I love those so now I'm spending points to makes rifles stronger, buuuuuut I also really enjoy the hacking part so I've spent some point there too...
And now have my points scattered everywhere. And even if I'd redo them, I wouldn't know what to choose. There are so many cool skills and ways to play this game. Without a doubt I'll be going for a second playthrough when the PS5-patch hits, as a street kid.

Also really loving subtle hints and links, for example the fact that loads of jobs are named after songs which can be considered classics. "I walk the line" (Johnny Cash), "Dreams" (Aerosmith), "Heroes" (David Bowie) and many more.
Or the BB-unit I found in a lab that's a direct homage to Death Stranding. I feel like this city still has infinite discoveries to be made...

Yikes. I hit this bug where you can't draw weapons in this exact spot and it really scared me. Several of my autosaves had it and restarting the game didn't fix it. I had to go back a few manual saves.

New patch to further reduce console crashes.

Should also fix the corrupted save files that pc’s seem to have a lot of trouble with. I must say that every patch since the launch have really improved the game.

And have I shared yet that I’m in love with Night City? 😉

Did learn something sad yesterday while watching the world news update while riding an elevator. Seems Belgium and the Netherlands have flooded and the Scandinavian countries are having trouble coping with the refugees from these two countries. So I’m going to be a 95yr old refugee then :p

Good, I don't craft a lot, but I was concerned. i've put this game down for a short period of time to spend time in Fallout 76, but also give it time to get patched.

The reviewers who "finished" the game at 25 hours missed so much. I'm at around 40 hours and have been ignoring the main storyline for days. There's been some really fun quests.

You don't have to be stuck with it. You could buy the $100k mod to start over with your points. It sucks having to spend that much but I'm sitting on $190k in my wallet right now. It's doable.

I kind of agree... but I'm kind of bored with side quests. The side/gig missions are okay... but I think I need to add some main story here and there for some dialog and keep the game interesting. After buying my expensive Epic Fortified Ankles... now I'm back up to 180k. Playing with the OP mantis blades... I rarely use my guns anymore... unless I'm moving too slow from looting everything... LOL. BTW... if you beat the "Beat on the Brat (Kabuki twins)" side mission, how much eddys did you lose before beating them. I lost like 2000... haha.

I’m a rockstar fan boy so I’m glad to see the mess lol
Let me tell you, I’m the biggest Rockstar fan probably in this forum (Red-Dead 2 was mesmerizing) and even after all the anticipation of Cyberpunk in this last year for me, I’m not gonna lie, I was let down. It just isn’t on the level that Rockstar is with driving mechanics, draw distances with graphics, fluidity, etc. I think Cyberpunk is a good game, but it’s not a great game. They made three patches already in the last two weeks rectifying quite a few issues, which is impressive given the game has only been available just over two weeks.

Anyways, I know this thread about Cyberpunk, but bring on GTA 6.😁

There is a plethora of video on YouTube showing all the GTA games beating CP in multiple categories. You’re right, this is the CP2077 thread, but it’s hard not to bring up just how good a Rockstar game is. RDR2 runs on my PS4 slim and puts this game to shame. The animals in RD are smarter than the NPCs in CP.

RDR2 is beautiful but so is the Witcher 3. However neither have the obsessive level of detail and diversity in visuals.

Grass, vegetation and wood repeated across landscapes is significantly less taxing than unique and densly populated assets almost everywhere a player moves.

Forget Witcher. In regards to RDR2, thats the game. A western like theme set in 1899. That’s what it is lol.

It doesn’t have “obsessive level of detail” ? RDR2? Have you played it yet lol.. one could even argue gta IV had more attention to detail than CP.

I think CDPR erred in trying to make this game for next gen consoles, ray tracing AND legacy consoles. The reason RDR2 runs great is, its not trying to be a visually awesome game on next gen hardware, i.e., RTX3080. I mean for the PC, the RTX3080 is about the only GPU that allows you see the game in its best settings. I have a RTX 2070 and it struggles, so its clear that the developer was aiming too high. Translation - legacy consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One would be unable to keep up, due to its older GPU or even computationally.

I guess I've been doing a lot of side gigs because I just hit max street cred.

If you watch that video I posted about hidden epic items you could get one for free....

I agree and I should have said side gigs instead of side quests. I completely ignore the "crime in progress" type activities because they're not interesting any more.

The only "Beat the Brat" fight I tried was Arroyo and that was only because I wanted that sniper rifle. I got massacred and eventually gave up. I haven't put a single point into body. 99% has been intelligence and tech.

They may have been going for top of the line, however my copy says PS4. It should run better on the PS4 or don’t sell it at all. Marketed years ago. There is a reason why Sony pulled it.

I'm defending CDPR, they totally hid hid the fact that it ran so poorly, and with 8 years in development they certainly could have done a better job for PS4/Xbox 1. What am saying is they focused soo much on the high end stuff, they probably should just went with next gen and said it won't run on the legacy

High end PC performance for the game is sick!

Fingers crossed the ps5 and Series versions will look close to this good:

I have RDR2 and Witcher 3 on PC. I always pause to look at the scenery and details of all these games when they are new. CP2077 is no different. Sometimes I stop traffic just to look at the city... I think npc's in cars stop and look too... I don't see any traffic lights or people crossing... but they stop in the middle of the road. haha

Even V is checking out CDPR's graphics details...:D The lighting, shadows, and zooming in on the details are pretty impressive.

I won't even go into Ray Tracing... which RDR2 doesn't have (even with a mod)... but all of you are going to have a treat with the CP2077 next gen update comes out. I really hope you all get it soon...

Same here. I prefer to kill using sticky grenades and katana knives.

Once I have a few upgraded smart weapons might use guns more.

What Blades perks do you have? Mantis blades is almost like a one shot kill... not even fair to pick these up free early in the game.
