That exactly how I am. I getting close to cleaning up the city and I'm only about 40% done with the main story.
Are you including buying cars as part of your complete missions? I haven't bought any cars yet... I don't know if it even gives you rewards you for buying cars. With the way cars just stop in city streets and freeways... for no reason... no hazard lights not even blinkers... I use the motorcycle to get around if I'm not close to a fast travel map point.

I'm not and I wish I could remove the car quests from the map. Cars are so awful to drive that I always use my motorcycle if I'm going to be on the road. Plus it's fun to actually see myself.

I really should start on the main story and finish the game. I'm now level 45 street 50... but I'm close to cleaning up Center City... which the last sector on the map for me... LOL.
At level 20 and 32 street cred, I got bored with building up my character. I was built up enough to enjoy all facets of the main story without missions being too easy.

I don’t know, I find the game actually even challenging on ‘easy’. I still think the N.C.P.D are overwhelmingly annoying. Over 60 hours, I’m starting finally to move to playing other titles. Sounds like February is a big month for some major updates coming, at least that’s the rumor.

I always rode Jackie's bike, just until I got me that black Caliburn... That is one fun car to drive!

Been busy at work and personal issues, so I'm not playing as much... pretty much done cleaning the city... and Takamura is still waiting. If you do the sides and clean up the city before the main missions, it easily gets you to lvl 50 sc 50. I'm 50% away from lvl 50... with 1M eddys.

You just need to match missions and side jobs with the right weapons.

Outdoor areas with distance height advantage: Sniper
Court yards or indoor warehouses: Katana and smart shotgun.
Indoors: Katana.

Use quickhacks and grenades to weaken enemies.

I have actually played the game for a whole week. I will play when the mest gen version and story extension have been released.

yeah, just saw the road map;

Wondering when the The Witcher 3 PS5-patch will ever hit then...

CDPR are behind the curve. :(

The conversation had moved on from bug fixes and poor performance to missing features and incomplete game play.

I am not sure that a story extension is worth playing if AI, driving mechanics remains rubbish. The vending machine, gun store and ripper dock experience is all menus, no animations or visible guns on shelves.

IMO they need to acknowledge blatantly cut out features and address what improvements we can expect on that front.

It's a massive shame that the next gen version isn't due well into H2 2021. Hopefully the Witcher 3 next gen version by Saber Interactive will launch this spring to keep me busy.

The roadmap actually is interesting that they disclosed this, usually developers will kind of give a vague timeline of what to expect, but the fact that they put this out at least give gamers an idea of when to expect it and likely as we get closer to those update, what to expect. I think CDPR is going to be as transparent as possible, not because they necessarily want to, because they don’t have a choice anymore given the company stock has shattered, the overall morale value is no longer at trust and the control board is putting extreme pressure on the lead developers.

Honestly, I’ve always been a ‘D1 pre-order purchaser’ my whole life with any major title, but this is the one game that I totally regret buying on day one and I would not suggest anybody purchase this game unless you have a new GEN console or you want the full affect of what the potential offers late.

I’m repeating myself again, but this is literally ‘No mans Sky’ all over again, literally carbon copy.

Honesty and transparency is the only way to regain public and employee trust.

You don't want to burn bridges with gamers this early in the the game's life cycle.

People can see through linguistic yoga very easily. Although the roadmap is a nice curtsey it's vague.

What does multiple updates and patches mean for:
-Previous gen gamers
-Current gen gamers
-PC gamers

Numerous areas of the game need improving and with my physical copy, I don't know whether I should sell or hold on to it.

A PS5 and Series version of GTA5 is due later this year. If CDPR don't get their act together, there is a big risk that Cyberpunk could,be embarrassed or up staged by and older game.

I didn't really know much about CP2077, so I didn't know how much was promised by CDPR. I was just building my new PC, and kept hearing about CP2077 and Ray Tracing. I thought it would be a good 1st game to break in my new PC... even though I finished Cold War single player, and finished Shadow of the Tomb Raider the day CP2077 released.. lol

After seeing this vid someone posted in the PC gaming forum, I can see why fans that were waiting so long for this game are disappointed:

I've been enjoying the game, but I admit, I've seen a lot of the issues mentioned in the vid. I had know idea how much features were promised, and left out of the game. I looked passed it because... I had no expectations... it's still fun to me... and most of all... this game looks beautiful on my PC... so it may be worth revisiting after the next gen version is released. If you haven't seen the vid above, it's pretty funny and entertaining.:D

You can't miss what you have never had or not seen. I watched that entire video last week.

Similar to you, I had not watched teasers and tech demos from 2-3 years ago.

My expectations were sensible and I enjoyed the game for what it is in the current state. It wasn't until I just had a few main missions left that my joy for the game started to die down a bit.

However its a gorgeous games I hope to continue where I left off once more features have been added.

I've been dragging my feet on my main story because I was hoping I would play most of it after the next gen upgrade. Oh well!

I have no choice but to play the main story now... all sectors of the map are clean... except for all the damn car purchase locations... LOL... but I haven't been playing as much lately. Just busy living life...

Unfortunately CDPR has delayed the DLC and next gen version.

The next 6 months will be spent fixing the game. They are so busy fixing the game that the roadmap doesn't mention a date for the multiplayer version.

Any of you see Angry Joe's CP2077 review? Think he posted it yesterday. Pretty funny and fair... but I didn't run into nearly as many bugs and glitches he encountered... it was hilarious.. lol

Same here. On Series X I only encountered 6 small visual bugs. I only experienced 3 gameplay related bugs but neither spoilt a mission.

However, the anxiety of potential bugs made me quick save very frequently.

Just finished the game and sat through the credits. I got what I would consider the "best" ending. The best way to describe my feelings on the game: WOW. Even with the bugs, I loved everything about it. I'll be doing a lot differently on my next play through, especially in regards to how I build my character. Some of my choices on how I spent perk points came back and bit me more than a few times.

I'm big into the futuristic stuff. Love thinking about what the future would be like, the technology we'd have, etc. I was sold on this game based on the futuristic setting alone! That being said, Night City and the overall future portrayed in this game gives me two opinions. I would love to live in a Night City. The game world design was amazing! At the same time though, I would NOT want to live in a Night City. I would say the definition of "dystopia" was summed up perfectly from start to finish. It portrayed a future that I hope never becomes reality, which also gets more disturbing when you start to look at the way things are now and you could see the things that could lead us to a future that could end up just like it. Certain aspects of the future portrayed in Cyberpunk are pretty plausible/believable.

My final thought is short and to the point. Judy is, hands down, one of my favorite video game characters of all time.

You know, it’s interesting, because I read a comment from a Youtuber reading the apology video from CDPR and they said “CDPR didn’t apologize to the fans, they’re using this apology as damage control to save what’s left for this company”. In other words, the bigger picture is that they’ve lost millions of dollars/cost the founders over 1 billion, stock drop, and the pressure from the control board virtually telling them to figure it out or get lost. And you know, I think this is a valuable lesson to the other major developers on the market, if your project isn’t set for release, no one cares about deadlines anymore, it’s all about releasing a product that the gamers expect to refined and ready for launch.

We’re living in a technological era where mistakes like that shouldn’t even happen anymore, and the bar needs to be held higher, and unfortunately CDPR is now the ultimate mocking tone in the gaming industry of what not to do.

The Cyberpunk fiasco has already had a seismic impact on the gaming industry.

Other gaming studios are shook. Several of them have announced delays for games due before summer. 🤦‍♂️

2021 gaming releases now look uncertain as that release dates for some next gen games have not even been announced.

We are going have to play backwards compatible games for quite some time. 😂

They should just stop announcing game so soon. Just work on it until it's almost ready and start the hype a couple of months before the release. No clue why these last years games have to be teased multiple years before the release date, and then we all just get disappointed every time they push the release... And for CP2077: at a point where they can't push it anymore and release it with loads of bugs and missing features/content they showcased...

The launch of CP2077 is still in the morgue with an autopsy that will continue for a few more months.

Studios will be dissecting the launch and game to unpick what went well and the pitfalls that they themselves should avoid.

Apple are actually good at under promising and overdelivering. 5-10 years ago, most consumer electronics brands were the opposite.

They would always announce products 6-12 months before retail launch. When consumers eventually got their hands on the products, they were either outdated or their performance/features didn't meet expectations set by demos or teasers.
