The weapon racks hold twelve spears, six short swords, four longswords, six light crossbows and eight quivers holding twenty crossbow bolts each.
You inspect the room, and find no secret doors or the like.

Racks of weapons line the walls of this chamber, including spears, swords, crossbows, and bolts. A dozen dirty red cloaks hang from hooks by the door.

We can try it although we haven't seen any halfling or dwarven Redbrands.
Ravenvii, could you please update the map sketch. I'm lost on where we can go from our current location.

If not, I guess it makes no sense for us to wear those dirty, smelly robes - but you and Bart would just fit fine. 🙂 We should get 2-3 just in case so you eventually can scout ahead once we've entered the mansion and left the underground.
I guess there aren't any weapons here that are interesting for me.

Yep, but let's keep it here until we're done, no? No need to fight while carrying tons of stuff around.
I'd still like to know if that stuff looks used - could give us an idea about how many dudes we're facing (and whether they're possiby less armed - although I don't get my hopes up on that one).

Where's Syllin (@Scepticalscribe) hiding ? I thought she would show up after talking with the sister. Did she leave the group ?
There are no dust anywhere -- it seems that the Redbrands are stocking up... for something.
No idea -- my mentions hasn't summoned her. @Scepticalscribe is currently with the sister, yes. Her little side quest can begin when she is ready.
And the map -- you're in the upper right box. I'm literally too lazy to change the color of the paint; deal with it. 😀

Does this mean that Scepticalscribe is in hiatus from the adventure?
So the room only has one door? Did we inspect the room for a second secret door/way out? If there is no second exit from the room, (based on Ravenvii's map) it seems the way forward is the cave passageway to our south on this side of the crevice that heads East while inspecting the cave along the way. How does that sound?

Thank you for the map revision. I'm assuming that the barrels were located to the left of the first box while the first box is the secret room and the second box is the armory ?
It looks like the unexplored areas are
1) The western tunnel in the main cavern just west of our current position.
2) Another western tunnel in the main cavern southwest from our current position.
3) A southern tunnel in the main cavern southwest from our current position.
4) An eastern tunnel in the main cavern southwest from our current position.
Could you please tell us what we see looking down corridors 1 - 4 so we can decide where to go.
To the group. No dust means well traveled. We could always wait for them to show up and try to ambush them ?

I believe we came from the top tunnel on the west side of the crevice, or was it the bottom tunnel? Going east seems to the way to go, that passage to the south of our room, no?

I'm also confused on which tunnel we originally entered from the surface. I thought the east tunnel might have had stairs down which I think is the wrong way to go since we were told that we are under the mansion (i.e. want to go up).
Let's wait for @ravenvii to give us a quick description of the 4 tunnels.
1) The western tunnel in the main cavern just west of our current position.
2) Another western tunnel in the main cavern southwest from our current position.
3) A southern tunnel in the main cavern southwest from our current position.
4) An eastern tunnel in the main cavern southwest from our current position.
The southern tunnel is where you came from. The creature's body is near the southwestern exit.
The southwestern exit goes down a flight of stairs. The southeastern passage goes eastern for about 10 feet, then turns right. The northwestern passage goes for about 10 feet, then turns right.

Veit (@twietee), Dalo (@Huntn), Portia (@Moyank24) : Since we have the north somewhat secured, I would recommend checking out the nearby north western passage first. The southwest passage has stairs down and it's near the creature so it may lead to the creature's lair. The eastern passage is a possibility but it turns south in the direction we entered from.

Let's flip a coin. 😛 I'd guess the room is closer to the destination so checking the north west passage first is fine by me.

Have fun !!! I'm heading to Florida the end of next week but I should have internet most of the time while down there.
Portia (@Moyank24) is currently sneaking down the north west passage and we are waiting for @ravenvii to tell us what she found. I doubt much will happen before Monday night even if we find something.
Portia quietly steps down the stairs, her ears alert for any sounds that may warn her of danger. At the bottom of the stairs, she finds a dead end with two doors facing each other on her left and right.
Through the right door, she hears shouts and pounding. She couldn't discern exactly what is going on, but it seems that the occupants of the room beyond the door is playing a game of some sort. She can hear three, maybe four, voices, but could not be completely certain.
* behind the scenes, Portia rolled a 11 on a Wisdom check, allowing her to percept the sounds.
Through the right door, she hears shouts and pounding. She couldn't discern exactly what is going on, but it seems that the occupants of the room beyond the door is playing a game of some sort. She can hear three, maybe four, voices, but could not be completely certain.
