I think you've misread, or are somehow confused. Most of these said in stock. Plus, how is it "falling for" anything? Almost everyone recognizes it could be canceled, but took a chance. What's the worst that is going to happen? A canceled order and no charge on our credit cards? :rolleyes:

Checking my order status, it changed to this:
Pending Review - This order is pending review


I fully expect this iPad Pro order to get cancelled. I also order an iPad Air and the Magic Keyboard, but did not receive a 2nd email about those. Their statuses still say "Reg Order Process".

damn, the ONE day I don’t check Macrumors first thing in the morning. everything was sold out by the time I checked in the afternoon. I definitely would have gone on an iPad binge!

hope you lucky folks get yours! if you end up with buyer’s remorse, slide into my DMs… :)
 
If this does turn out that they wont ship, hopefully everyone can get their money back quickly and not in a couple weeks or more. Seems to be a common complaint on trustpilot. Great way to raise short term capital i guess.

Well, with the exception of a small handful of folks who are suggesting a class action suit if the orders are cancelled, almost none of us are expecting to get anything. It is almost like waiting to for the lottery numbers to see if there is a very small chance you won — except that if you don’t win, you have lost nothing but a few minutes.

We are at low risk. We can always ask the credit card companies to cancel the orders.

I've seen a similar deal on AirPods Max posted on Twitter from TigerDirect . It kind of makes me wonder if the website has been taken over or the company is really doing something shady.

Sure there are deals, but no one sells Apple products half off, unless there's a reason. As the saying goes if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. If people would go by that saying they would avoid 99% of scams.
 
i just got a second confirmation email for the M2 air i bought an hour after i ordered the M1 & ipad pro -

fingers crossed we’ll start seeing shipping notifications by the morning

This is literally the most hilarious thread. You're all in denial if you actually believe there's even the slightest chance any of these ship. What you can look forward to, tomorrow, is your cancellation emails. Again, I've been here before with the Tiger Direct price mistakes over the weekend.
