Order at 3 AM Friday and mine was cancelled with no reason.

Pure speculation on your part, based on zero logic. Given that there are plenty of Apple TVs at every other retailer on the planet, the more likely explanation is that AT&T is clearing out excess inventory from its free Apple TV promotion.

The odds of Apple releasing a new Apple TV this year are close to zero.

I just got an email from att, they have cancelled my order, no reason given!!

i placed the order Around 9am Friday and now FOUR DAYS LATER they cancel it
 
Cancelled and I ordered mine at like 6 am before a bunch of people. My original email still shows it’s in progress though.
 
Mine got cancelled as well and I ordered mine at 8:36est. Order still shows in progress, but got an email and text it was cancelled. Not happy about this at all.

At least the apple card pending transaction fell off already after they cancelled.

It goes to cancelled eventually, took about 30 minutes for me to go to cancelled after I received the email.
 
Mine got cancelled b/c they ran out of stock is what they tell me and they don't have plans to get anymore in. Screw AT&T. Stupid to confirm an order and then 4 days later cancel it. Disorganized company.

Can anyone confirm they’ve received a tracking number or did they cancel all orders?

this is thesecond time they’ve done this. I’ll contact their CS, Then they’ll offer a discount for a different product, I’ll call bait and switch, we get nowhere.

what an absolutely pathetic company.
 
I talked to ATT support

I have check and see that your order Apple TV 4K - 32GB. was canceled, and I see that this concern is not only you it is for most of the customer and I have check the reason I am unable to get the correct info, so in order to get this resolved , let me connect you over the call with our order management team to check this out for you .

Honestly sounds like it was an accidental price

Update, I now have the reason of "This item flew off our shelves and isn't available anymore" which makes no sense as I put in my order plenty early. This smells more like someone accidentally discounted the price too much and they only honored a very small faction of the orders.

I talked to them on the phone, nothing they can do. They 100% sold out. I know for a fact I was one of the first few orders in, it was so fn early in the morning.

Att chat had someone call me, the guy told me they could reinstate my order, then he blind transfered me to someone who had no idea what was happening without being told by the previous guy. I couldnt understand him at all, phone was way too quiet.

Cliff notes: They got cancelled, they arent reinstating them, they have 0 of them.

Just like the XS silicone case about 6 months ago. I think they do this on purpose. Only have a few in stock, cut the price and watch all the orders come in. Then they play games by making everyone wait before cancelling.
 
I now regret not choosing the pick up in store option. Maybe that would have been quicker to process. That is, assuming you were going to be given a unit that was actually in stock at the selected store.

Mine wouldnt even let me choose that option.

I get people are mad, but something I have learned is, they dont process orders in order of received. Amazon does the same thing, you either get lucky or you dont. You could have been the very first person to order and you might not get it.

AT&T cancelled my order as well. Pretty lame. Maybe new Apple TV’s are imminent? 🤔 😜
 
I ordered mine at 7:12 and it was shipped on Friday. Tracking number says it arrives tomorrow. Great deal!

What a joke! Thats why I don't have AT&T of anything they are so unreliable.
