Everyone who used Apple Pay for their Apple watch will get notifications the instant their credit card is charge, right? So no need for us to check our cards :)

HMM. I just checked my Apple Pay details and it shows the watch amount twice and the band amount twice. I will assume those are just the holds going on. If not, I know it can be fixed. Assume that when it is REALLY charged I will see the date of the actual charge and not the time I charged it.

Could apple just be in the process of updating orders to preparing to ship? I think we will see shiping begin tonight or tomorrow- just my opinion.

Going to be an anxious 48hrs.

Hoping we see an update over the weekend as my productivity levels at work next week are really going to be impacted otherwise! Lol

I learned more from stalking the ups website than apple sending me confirmation emails. If I remember correctly, with my 6 Plus pre order I was able to "track by reference" via the ups website. The phone was already half way home before I even saw an apple email.

We should see updates soon though - I remember my phone sitting in Shanghai all weekend and then being stuck in Anchorage for a few days as well.

Soon enough boys and girls :D

How many got a 3:01am confirmation email? I haven't seen many state that time, mostly it's 3:03 etc.

I was fortunate to get a 3:01am for the SG 42mm.

I did. I ordered a 38mm sport with a white band - 3:01 a.m. confirmation email. I sincerely hope mine arrives on 4/24...I took a vacation day for the arrival! Soooo excited!

But apple had charged you first? I'm not sure if i should stalk the UPS site if I haven't been charges yet.?

I saw on another thread the post of a guy who claims when he pre-ordered the iPhone 4 on launch day and Apple didn't charge his card until 3 weeks later.

If I don't get my Apple Watch on 24/4 something bad will happen.

When I worked for a large air freight company, we had a woman call and asked for ground shipping to China. My colleague sitting next to me replied that we didn't offer ground shipping to China. She got indignant that we offered ground service via truck. He explained that yes, we have ground service via trucking, but not when it has to cross an ocean.

She said hold on, I'm getting a map.

She came back on and asked for the ocean frieght department.

He responded, that I can help you with. Lol

Dude, I finished reading your post and literally overheard Harpo's bulb horn. :D

My ordered got cancelled out of the blue and an Apple rep informed me it was for security reasons because so many log ins to my account. Moral of the story is not to check your order status obsessively.

So glad I found this thread! This is my first pre-order through Apple directly (always order from my carrier) and I've been checking my order status like crazy! I will be following hoping to see some movement in our shipments! I ordered the 38mm sport with white band

I've been doing preorders a long time, and I've been refreshing my account on those preorders a long time, and that's never happened to me... Shenanigans!

Anticipation...

It's almost palpable.

My prediction: this thread passes 100 pages by Monday morning cuz we start getting the "Preparing for shipment" and some lucky ones even a Tracking number... Then you'll see this thread explode...

Oh the fun! The carnage!

The 24th can't get here soon enough...

Good luck everyone!

Hey maybe someone could offer me some advice.

I ordered a 42 mm SS Classic Buckle and the delivery date is 4/24-5/8. I live on a college campus, so for mail we have unit boxes. I talked to an apple rep online and they said they could send it there because it is technically a post office where people can sign for the package and is not just a PO Box. So I went ahead and got it sent to there.

The only problem is that if it does deliver on the 24th, I hope that it wouldn't be before 5 pm cause that's when the post office closes here. UPS wouldn't deliver it on a Saturday would they? Cause again the post office would be closed.

Best case would be early delivery on the 24th, or possibly even the 27th. But it's hard to tell. I don't want the UPS to show up and not be able to deliver the package because no one is available to claim it (even if I pre-sign).

I might have to just send it home and then have my mom deliever it to me, but that would take even longer. Should I risk it then guys? I really would love my device on the 24th. But delivering it at home may be the safer bet.

I might just track it 24/7 and then just wait outside my college for when the UPS truck comes haha.

most likely they know that they need to deliver to places like that earlier in the day. They won't just show up hoping that someone is there to sign for it.

Packages at college campuses are almost always delivered at the same time. They are usually treated as a business and get the packages before 5pm. Otherwise they would never get packages. You should be fine.

With UPS My Choice, you can get an estimate time of when the UPS Driver will drop your package off or you could just have your Apple Watch held at a local UPS facility then go pick it up when convenient.

Could you pick it up at the local UPS facility, or a UPS store?
